A Blinds Co. is seeking a qualified, professional installer of window coverings for the Central Florida area. We offer weekly pay and hours are typically M-F. Must have a vehicle that can transport blinds/debris. We are looking for an Installer who has: • Excellent customer service skills. • Properly measure windows for various types of window treatments • Complete a professional installation of window blinds, shades, drapes and/or shutters into homes and businesses. • Perform window treatment repairs on occasion • Maintain installation paperwork and necessary change orders • Clean up job site and shop after work is completed • Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective solutions to challenges and obstacles pertaining to the installation that will arise. • Basic computer skills such as email, apps, etc. Installer Skills, Abilities, and/or Experience that make a successful candidate: • Minimum of 1 year experience in a skilled trade such as but not limited to; window treatment installation, plantation shutter installation, finish carpentry, cabinetry, remodeling etc. • Must have the ability to take direction and work well with other team members. • Ability to lift a minimum of 55 pounds and climb up and down ladders. • All candidates must have a valid driver’s license and employment is based on the successful completion of a drug screening, motor vehicle and criminal background check • Candidates should be mechanically inclined and be able to troubleshoot and solve problems while interacting with customers. • Open to applicants who do not have a high school diploma/GED • Ability to learn and handle new technology as introduced to the window covering and installation industry.
