They are interested in the production of political subjectivities, dreams, and violence in postcolonial world(s), and make use of art to redistribute care, belonging and value. DJCS is the director of Enjoy Contemporary Art Space, Te Whanganui-a-Tara. Previously they were an assistant curator at Artspace Aotearoa, and were the founder of artist-run gallery Parasite, Tāmaki Makaurau. DJCS has worked in public, private and artist-run galleries since 2012, and curated independent exhibitions and events across Aotearoa.
