Only when its necessary. Imma throw this Friday to young Godson...Derrick. Giving a big #FCF #FatherCrushFriday #funfatherfriday Y'all know how I feel about my kid (my niece). I love her to no measure like I birthed her myself. But not only does he have a son that he gives the world, he on the occasion takes my baby along for the fun. He's not her dad but if he doesn't even notice, he shows her what a man is. What it looks like to provide. What adventure looks like and that it's really okay to have fun with someone besides her mom. He shows her that kids are a blessing and not just a struggle. That having a kid is more than just a pick up and drop off to kill time and more than just materialism. I call myself her dad but I know that being a woman I could never fill that roll. I'm just happy at the end of the day that there's a man around her who has her best interest at heart. Who loves to see her smile. And who just genuinely cares about her and cares even enough to check on her when he's not in her presence. This might seem so small to others but it means everything to me because she means everything to me. She smiles when she speaks of you. And that forever melts my heart. So even if you never meant to be an influence I'm so thankful that you are. Thank you for being an awesome dad everyday without question and thank you for being an influence to my young one. P.s. How could you have hate for the very human being that gave you life? How can you bash what is your off spring? How could you bash your wife? And they all look and pretend these things were never said....Pretend we're not all affected. How is the support possible? How have so many fallen victim to the bs?
