Cleansing Bath

Ingredients:

Sage

Rosemary

Lavender

Frankincense essential oil

Coconut essential oil

Pink Salt

Epsom salt

one or 5 small white candles to charge

~As you fill your bathtub with water, sprinkle the bath salts into it. Add the essential oils and herbs to it. Light the candle, place it on the edge of the bathtub, or, if you have a bath tray, place them there. Immerse yourself in the bath water, as you do this imagine any unwanted energy flowing out of you and into the water.

~if you don’t have a bathtub, you can take a big bowl and use the same recipe, but only soak your feet inside the bowl

Everyday Magic for the Water Witch

Here are some quick ideas to incorporate water magic into your daily routine!

If you live close enough, go on a morning walk to a body of water. If you are far away, maybe make it a weekly or monthly trip. 

Carry turquoise with you for protection. Put it on your window sill to keep bad spirits out. 

Use opal to purify things. It is especially good for moon water.

Research the different types of water and try making some of them. For example, crystal water, moon water, sun water, storm water, and so on. 

During stressful times in your life, go to the water and meditate. 

Keep plants that don’t need any soil to grow and just need water. Put some green onions in a vase full of water and watch them grow!

Infuse your water with fruits like lemons or strawberries.

When it is raining, go outside or open your window. 

Decorate your altar with sea glass.

Hello my little sprigs! I just made a short “masterpost” of water types. I know there are a lot of these floating around, but I had to do this because I remember things better when I write them down tbh so why shouldn´t I post it.This is out of my grimoire, I added some personal references.

waters you have to “make”: moon water ritual cleansing, spell work, dream work, astral travel - but moon water can be used for almost everything

sun water ritual cleansing, self esteem, social anxiety, truth and the revealing of lies, enlightment

shadow water strengthening of lies, hiding ones location, tarnishing relationships

gutter water curses.

waters you can gather: sea/ocean water healing, psychich work, the ability to adapt changes, manifestation of goals, strenght, glamours

river water changes, moving forward, warding, releasing emotions and feelings

lake water (inner) peace, relaxation, reflection of thoughts and/or emotions

rain water light rain: (gentle) energy, protection, growth, finding truth heavy rain: energy, destruction, curses as well as cleansing

storm water force, motivation, relaxation, spells regarding anger and releasing (unwanted) feelings

swamp water banishing and binding, cursing, protection (to attract negativity and redirecting it from you)

waterfall water power, energy, success, moving forward, bravery

ice water transformation, balance, creativity

snow water purity, resolutions, balance

dew fertility, love, glamours, growth

fog creativity, hiding truth, protection (via hiding your location), curses

flower vase water growth, glamours, depending on the flower that was in there different uses
