no I don’t like it because there’s something INCREDIBLY dystopian about being forced to soften terms for basic parts of the human experience like death and sex (and even more so terms for oppressed minorities- call me a “le-dollar sign-bian” and I will bite you) purely because advertisers and corporations demand it

The only thing I remember from the 1998 #Trigun is Vash saying Love and Peace. I recently watched the new #TrigunStampede and rewatched the old anime, and let me tell you, the Love and Peace is a LIE. There is only pain and despair.

I need more shows/movies about super-geniuses but them getting absolutely humbled. Like absolutely annihilated and humiliated instead of always being right. Only in the case of them being assholes about their intelligence. Think bbc Sherlock (and maybe Spencer Reed? Idk these are the only super geniuses I can think of rn) but like if he was absolutely bodied by morals and the consequences of his assholeness. On the flip side, I also need more shows/movies about dumb fucking stupid protagonist. Like protagonist who couldn’t navigate their way out of a laundry basket level stupid- who constant get things right and one up all the intelligent people around them through sheer dumb of ass kind of heart. Bc I think only having smug super geniuses who are always right no matter what sets unrealistic expectations subconsciously.

Maybe I’m just projecting but when I saw super genius characters always be right, never be wrong, and never have to really pay for the consequences of their actions idk it made me really insecure. And on the flip side of the dumb character is always wrong then what dose that tell nd kids or kids with learning disabilities. There’s such an influx of characters who are so polarized and maybe it’s me not being very media savvy but idk I think it would be nice

I think I finally have a blaze worthy post. This is Suzie who loved the cauliflower so much, that trying to capture her licking her chops ended up with pics like the above.

Here is how Suzie normally looks. It was taken just minutes after we brought her home in early October. She immediately jumped on the couch as was like, “This is where I belong now.” She was adopted from the same shelter we’d gotten our beloved Crichton from, who passed away in May at age 11. Suzie is a 3 yr old ball of zoomies who also loves naps and hugs, and is learning that toys are fun.

It’s my opinion that like if a white supremacist/Nazi is going to be reformed. They need to do so willingly. The only times I’ve heard of successful rehabilitation of fascists is when they made the conscious decision to no longer be one anymore and seek atonement. People who try to like hug and change fascists that don’t want to change are fucking morons
