「DROP DEAD」

seowon finds peace when he’s tidying up because at least for that amount of time, he has control over something. how something is placed, how something should look. there is stability in his mind as all he as to focus on is this one task in contrast of thinking of alternatives to detain a criminal out in the field. even if he lost it all, at least he still has his own space he can call his own. at least until someone decides to pay a visit for no apparent reason. still, there are some nights where he becomes restless. where a day out becomes too much and he still feels this adrenaline that won’t wear off. seowon stares at the ceiling, hoping that the sleep would get to him. but it doesn’t. it never does. he sets out to the place he would call his second home, the training room. ever since his demotion, seowon found solace there. he found his own ways of coping with the change, fighting with his demons.

from the muffled grunts coming from the training room, he didn’t need to look in to know who was in there. daehan was probably the only person he’d expect to see- more so the only person he’s seen being there as long as he has. the door slides open, his eyes meeting the exact person he’d guessed. “bored?” he comments, watching the bot continuously fall with a couple of the younger’s punches. seowon tries to do his best with the limited difficulty levels of the opponents, but he understand that sometimes AI just isn’t enough. “c’mon. bring it on, kid.” sometimes a human punch bag is needed.

「NO REST FOR THE WICKED」

he tries not to think in silent moments like these. the rare times where he can actually hear his footsteps or the low hum of the sever rooms. he’s done too much thinking these days with the constant calls for a job. it’s something new everyday with the same outcome. it’s exhausting. and with this thoughts exercising his mind since wake, all he wants to do now is shut off for once, while this moment is strangely peaceful. seowon steps into the break room, thankfully not finding anyone there. has the universe finally turning to his favor? or will it somehow bring it crashing down once he feels at ease? too many questions for someone who doesn’t want to think. he shakes the thought away with a glass of cold water and sits down on one of the lounge sofas near the corner. he brings the cup to his lips, his eyes starring intensely at the door, prepared for someone to pop by. it had to happen sometime, right? he stares until there was nothing left in the cup, bringing a miraculous sigh from his lips.

“finally.” he mumbles to himself, stretching his arms out accompanied with a yawn. perhaps this time he could get some sleep, finally.

mutual understanding(!?)! please read up everything from my muse so there won’t be repetitive questions as we plot. i understand clarification questions (sometimes i could pass by some stuff and like i don’t make sense lmao but i promise i revised!), but i’ve had people in the past that asked questions that are clearly in my character’s about page. some things pass by our minds, we’re not perfect, but somethings are just right in front of your face and it can get frustrating. i will do the same for you!

extra note: i wrote this character in hopes to integrate your characters in his life, so the timeline in his about is not set in stone. i kinda just wrote it as a guideline for me to better grasp the character.

32 year old perfectionist. likes to be neat and keep things neat because everything else in his life and brain is a shit-storm.

inspector turned enforcer.

is a divorcee with a 4 year old daughter he will never interact with again because he doesn’t want her to know her father is a criminal and well his ex-wife don’t want him around anymore.

used to be a big believe in the system, but now he’s somewhat there still, but believes more in himself more to do the job rather than the system entirely bc it couldn’t even get the father that abused him and his mom after all these years like...????

a concussion when he was younger caused by his dad made little seowon forget (locked away in his brain), but after seeing his kid with his father, the dude just lost it. remembered his past, saw red, and beat his father v much.

found out he likes the thrill of hurting [bad] ppl??? so he channels his anger towards judo.

can get out of hand if he’s extremely invested on a case; would need to get shot probs since his anger easily takes over him lol...jk...?

is very kind once you get to know him. just doesn’t show much of what he’s feeling or thinking, but will show it through various ways. like if he sees you shivering, he’d probs get you a blanket or his jacket without saying much... that’s how considerate he is. c:

bad think is, when he talks, he has no filter and not in the way like he curses a lot (he doesn’t really), but like he will speak his mind and won’t pay much attention if it hurt you or offended you. he’s just stating the facts/thoughts/opinions.

thinks he’s a really bad boy guy and because of his twisted mind, he believes every other latent criminal is the similar in that danger spectrum.

has a habit of covering his mouth/looking away when he laughs or smiles widely. he doesn’t like his smile. so don’t make him smile... (please make him smile)

plot ideas

only for inspector: the person he goes to to accompany him to see his daughter.

someone that doesn’t trust him/scared of him(?) after seeing him go berserk in the past

someone that looks up to him despite his demotion and he’s just like.. why!??!?!

someone he spars with in judo~

someone that annoys him but still has an endearing relationship?

they don’t like each other for some reason but manage to work perfectly together?

idk! let’s brainstorm because i just wrote these and i’m eager to write!
