Barrister is funny because as an absol he's very. stoic and duty bound to protect me and everyone but he does sometimes get confused. There's a thunderstorm coming and he's very actively keeping me inside and whining because I'm Not Taking It Seriously (because I'm inside an apartment and so I'm not in danger from a thunderstorm)

Oh right, I have a rotumbr. Sorry it's been so long everybody, things have been crazy. I stepped down from the elite 4 and now I just kind of hang out at home. A lot of my team wanted to keep battling, so my friends in the competitive circuit are taking care of them for the time being. I missed y'all, let me know if anything big happened while I was gone.

we need to stop deino breeding. They're NOT good starter pokémon, and they're getting a bad reputation as "evil" pokemon because someone gave their Youngster Billy a dragon type and he got bit. Plus, daycare Deino grow up way faster and so when you release them you get these fucking Apex Predator Hydragon in an area where there's nothing that can stand up to them. AND they're comfortable with humans so you get Ranger Outposts being attacked.

Sending this out through League channels, Roxy says she has habitats where the Grimer can stay, though Unova league doesn't have proper Water type facilities, which is frustrating. I can probably take care of the Inkay until the crisis dies down, and maybe try to adopt them out to new trainers as part of the starter program since finding qualified homes for dark types is one of my non battling responsibilities

so i’ve been at the pokemon house all afternoon and. it’s bad

since i know we’re not the only ones getting hit by the influx of returned pokemon from Luvdisc Day 2023, i want to see if i can compile a list of shelters that need help either getting the word out about potential adoptions or with extra hands/supplies

i’ll be announcing the list on the next broadcast to get as wide of a reach as possible. if you know of any shelters in need of help right now reply to this with: 1) name/location of your shelter 2) if you’re taking volunteers or donations (if you’re in need of specific supplies ie. food, blankets, potions feel free to list that as well!)

Just got into an argument with a coworker about if it's pronounced "pih-dove" or "pie-dove".

That client might have had a pie-dove but it's obviously pronounced "pih". How do you get a job as a vet without being able to pronounce one of the most common Pokémon in Unova?
