hi everyone! sorry for the lack of activity on any of my blogs people might follow me for, i recently had a huge dip in my mental health (which has caused me to have multiple meltdowns and breakdowns in the past 20 days) and tumblr was a large part of that, so for now im on a indefinate haitus from the site. in the first 2 weeks it was so bad sitting at my PC knowing i could easily open the site was making me have panic attacks.

ive been posting over on twitter but i dont have the app installed so its whenever i remember to open it on my browser.

COMMISSIONS CHANGE

Hello everyone! I’ve recently hit a massive bump with mental health, so I’m changing commissions slightly. This isn’t affecting currently unfinished commissions.

I’m a mentally ill disabled transgender dude and due to my current mental state I’m able to / am being prevented by my family from getting a normal job, I’ve been unable to start testosterone despite getting things in place to do so because of lack of money. I’m meant to be getting a paid therapist soon to help with my mental health problems, but have been off my medication for 8 months now due to it linking with my current blockage brain wise. Commissions are Quite Literally the only way I get money and would appreciate any support I can get

Sketch Commissions:

These are now at a base rate of £5, I don’t have a lot of energy right now, but I can do sketches and I’d like to mainly focus on sketch commissions if I can help it

Still at £10, nothing has changed here, these are easy for me to do (and I like doing them) so I don’t feel like changing them.

still £20, but I’m only offering 3 slots, these take a lot of energy I don’t have in excess right now, and might take me longer than 2 weeks to finish

These are now £50, and I’m again only offering 3, again, these can take me a while to complete, and will probably take me up to a month to finish, please only get one of these of you don’t mind waiting that long

Again, I can’t get a job, so any support is really appreciated and I’d be grateful if this was spread around or I got some commissions

EMERGENCY COMMS!!

hi! So as stated in the above I don’t have the ability to work at the moment, and due to a wrist injury that hasn’t only recently gotten better haven’t been able to do much in terms of both art and other things in my life, but after (finally with fear) checking my bank, I’m about £35 overdrawn, which is! Really stessful if you don’t have any way to make money, so commissions are discounted right now to help get rid of that overdraft and I don’t have stress nightmares about this.

Lines are mostly done using Calish Ink, and I sketch with the same brush too

Did you go to school for art?

Yes and no. I studied Fine art for 2 years at GCSE and 2 years College level, and then went to university for half a year for BA Illustration, but ended up dropping out. I’m going back to university hopefully this year to get my degree. So, kinda. Most skills however were self taught when I was a teenage and honed into what you see now

My wrist has actually gotten worse, I’m home alone until Sunday, so I don’t have a way to get to the doctors for an appointment, so next week I’ll hopefully have one and they’ll be able to tell me what’s going on and how we can sort it, I’m really sorry for the lack of art and progress on commissions because of it
