Something interesting about Amy through different media is how she seems to be the one character who has seen others at their most vulnerable.

In Sonic Adventure, E-102 Gamma was conflicted between obeying Eggman’s orders and having the unique trait among his creations of actually caring for others, something only Amy saw when they meet at the prision cell and the robot questioned why did Amy protected the bird.

In Sonic Adventure 2, Shadow’s most vulnerable moment was when he realized that he was betraying his promise to Maria and his true purpose after hearing Amy’s speech. He even shed a tear and the only character to ever witness Shadow like this was Amy.

In Sonic Unleashed, Sonic found himself for the first time vulnerable when Amy failed to recognize him. The funny thing is, Amy at first thought it was someone else and while she didn’t saw Sonic’s grief (that was Chip actually), she was the catalyst to Sonic realizing the consequence of his condition.

In the last issues of Sonic Universe, we see a flashback of Amy and Knuckles having a conversation in which Knuckles opens up and talks about his insecurities and doubts, something that you never, ever see him doing with either Sonic or Tails despite the lengths that Sega/ST goes with to convience people that the three are super diper friends. Nope, it’s Amy, the character not from the Genesis trilogy who sees Knuckles open up like that about himself.

And in all of these situations, it’s Amy who says something that they need to hear: she convinces Gamma to stop obeying Eggman, her speech is what makes Shadow remind his true purpose, she reassures Sonic that no matter how he looks on the outside, in the inside, he’ll always be her darling Sonic and reminded Knuckles that even if he fails, he never gives up, which gave him the strength to free himself after everyone was trapped inside crystals.

I think that in the franchise, Amy is a very special character with whom others can feel comfortable to open up and find the words they need to not give up on their personnal quests. This is something I’d like to see more with other characters approaching Amy, like Blaze.

But at the same time, it would also be nice to see these characters putting up a good word on Amy,mor even moments in which it’s Amy who needs someone she can share her own doubts. Ironically, I think that Rouge could be the one to pull this, while still being herself.

I will post alot of draft, some maybe cleaned and somic comics if i have the feel, and strength. This page will conatin mostly about Hollow Knight and the upcoming game: Silksong.

I made this about the Knight many years after he escaped the Abyss. A bug lady safe him out of kindness and pity. This is the start of the time he spend outside Hallownest and learn many thing before returning back to his land to fullfill his duty as a vessel.
