These exercises should be done in sequence so that you complete a super-set (instead of doing them in any order that you want when you're in the gym.)Chest Exercises For Men - Exercise 1: The T-Press UpStep 1: Get into the press up position, with your hands just over shoulder-width apart and your body straight from your ankles to your head.Step 2: Tense your abs, don't drop or raise your hips and lower yourself to the floor.Step 3: Do a standard push up, then raise your weaker arm and raise it up. Your body will turn so that your upper body is facing left. Control your body then return to step one. Sister Lucy alleged that she has been isolated and humiliated by fellow inmates. (File) Wayanad, Kerala: Sister Lucy Kalappura, who had protested against Bishop Franco Mulakkal in the nun rape case and was expelled by the Franciscan Clarist Congregation, began an indefinite fast today before the convent in nearby Mananthavady, alleging that she was denied basic amenities there. The nun came out with serious accusations against the convent authorities that she had been denied food and other facilities of the institution, where she was allowed by a local court to stay till the case against the bishop was over. She alleged that she has been isolated and humiliated by fellow inmates of the convent. “The convent authorities have been blatantly violating the directives passed as an interlocutory order by a Mananthavady court”, Sr Lucy said adding that a team of police from Vellamunda station came and met her and convent authorities recently. Sister Lucy Kalappura (56), who took part in a protest by nuns belonging to Missionaries of Jesus Congregation seeking the arrest of Bishop Franco Mulakkal, accused of raping a nun, was expelled by the FCC under the Roman Catholic Church in August 2019. Consequent to this, she had been asked to vacate her convent. However, a court here had last year allowed her to stay at the FCC convent until the case regarding her eviction is decided. Having a skinny bony chest is no laughing matter, especially for a guy. Everywhere we look we are bombarded with images of huge pecs and barrel-chest dudes and made to feel that a big muscular chest is the epitome of masculinity.While a lot of this is garbage used by the media to sell products and engineer society, there is an ancient idea that a muscular chest denotes a more attractive and confident man. Just a take a quick look at any ancient Greek or Roman statue and you'll rarely see a skinny chest.The benefits of putting some solid muscle on your skinny chest are not just superficial. Having stronger pecs will improve your posture and prevent drooping shoulders - this will help you avoid back problems and likewise improve your confidence, since posture has a lot to do with how we feel.Below you'll find 3 great exercises that you can use to put some rock hard muscle on your skinny chest and cover up those bones. I've chosen them since they work the 3 major areas of the pectoral muscles (outer, inner and upper pecs). A lot of skinny guys make the mistake of focusing on just one area and end up under-developing the rest.3 Exercises To Get Rid of a Skinny Chest:Bench PressThis is the absolute king of chest exercises and without a doubt the most famous. You must perform this one regularly to get rid of your skinny chest.Lie flat on a weights bench and grab the bar with your hands a little over a shoulder-width apart. Lift the bar off the rack and slowly lower towards your chest, and stop when the bar is around an inch off your chest - don't let it rest or bounce off your chest, like you see a lot of folks in the gym doing...this is not only dangerous but it reduces the effectiveness of the exercise. Now push the bar back up until your arms are almost straight - never lock your elbows.This is one rep...perform 6-10 reps and 3 sets on a weight that means it is difficult to complete the set.The standard way of performing this exercise above works the entire chest with an emphasis on the outer pecs (if your grip is a little over a shoulder-width apart). You can work the upper pecs by inclining the bench upwards, or the lower pecs by inclining the bench downwards.Dumbbell Flyes (or cable crunch)This is a fantastic exercise for the inner pecs and getting that great line down the middle of the chest.Lie back flat on a weights bench with a dumbbell in each hand. Hold them up above your chest with arms slightly bent. Then slowly lower the dumbbells one to each side in an arc so that they come level with your chest and your arms are out to the side. From here arc them back up to the start position, making sure you focus on the inner pecs and trying to "squeeze" them as much as possible.Perform 6-10 reps and 3 sets of these. Again you work the upper pecs by inclining the bench. You can also perform this exercise standing up by utilizing a Cable Crunch machine. I personally recommend you use free weights wherever possible to get rid of a skinny chest as they will help you to build muscle and get stronger faster but the cable crunch is a great alternative.Overhead Dumbbell PressesThese are brilliant for the upper pecs and shoulders in particular.Sit up straight on a bench with a back support, and grab a dumbbell in each hand. Lift them to the start position which is either side of your head just above your shoulders with palms facing forward.From here lift the weights up straightening your arms and bringing the weights together above your head. Hold for a second and then slowly lower them to the start position. Repeat for 3 sets of 6-10 reps.Focus the effort on your pecs and not so much on your arms to get the maximum benefit from this exercise.Bonus: Push-upsIf you can't get access to a gym or any weights then I highly recommend you start doing push-ups for your skinny chest. These are still an extremely versatile exercise and you can work your whole chest area simply by changing your grip width, inclining your feet, changing the pace of each rep, using a gym ball to support your feet and loads of other techniques.
The key to success with push-ups is consistency and incrementation. By gradually increasing your number of reps each day you will be amazed at how quickly you'll get rid of your skinny chest and develop big muscular pecs. Source by John Wheeler

Cody Plank: My favorite time of the day to workout is first thing in the morning for many reasons, the first being that it improves your physical and mental energy. This is great for getting the necessary energy to complete your workday or school day more efficiently.  Another reason I enjoy morning workouts is that they enhance your metabolism causing you to burn more calories throughout the day. Lastly morning workouts are great for developing strong self-discipline and accountability.      Brooke Kratche:  I love to work out in the morning! Oftentimes when you workout to start your day you will feel more motivated to make healthy decisions throughout the day. In addition to that, it'll be done with sooner so you won't have time to make excuses not to do it! Whenever you have time to get it in your day is the best time for you. Quantas vezes por semana eu devo treinar para "ganhar resultados"?Primeiro eu aconselho escolher uma academia por indicação, boa estrutura, atendimento e profissionais, perto da sua casa, para evitar problemas de logística, chuva, estacionamento e etc, e então definir quantas vezes vc irá treinar/semana. Um estudo conduzido por Gentil et al, 2015 apresentou insignificante diferença entre pessoas que treinaram 1 ou 2 X/semana para ganhos  de circunferência  de braço e força. Em uma pesquisa conduzida por Soares (2001) com atletas de handebol do sexo feminino, aonde o objeto de pesquisa era saber se 3 sessões de treinamento semanais podem promover uma melhora potência anaeróbia alática nas atletas. Foi encontrada uma melhora substancial desta resistência, ficando claro que o treinamento feito de maneira correta pode melhorar em muito este parâmetro, mas também a resistência anaeróbica lática, bastante usada em treinamentos de força. Com isso fica claro que 3 treinos por semana podem auxiliar bastante na melhora da força e consequentemente da hipertrofia.Por fim, Benton (2011) fez um estudo comparativo entre 2 protocolos de exercícios, sendo que em um deles foi usado um treinamento de 4 sessões e no outro de 3/semana. Não foram encontradas diferenças entre os protocolos, o que deixa claro que a qualidade do treino, alimentação e descanso é muito mais influente do que a frequência semanal. [ad_1] It's been more than a year since my last post on this blog and I can only say, by way of explanation, that it has been an eventful year of many changes for me. In other words, I have been very much otherwise occupied. I'm still processing some of the learning of the past year but I come back to this blog with renewed enthusiasm and energy.The question of how the design and delivery of learning in schools needs to respond to the burgeoning of digital technology continues to occupy my thoughts, especially with regard to the meaningful integration of technology into the curriculum and how to support teachers in doing that effectively. I've just finsihed reading a very useful ISTE publication called web 2.0: new tools, new schools that sketches out the groundwork ahead for administrators and teachers to make the critical changes in schools to adapt learning and teaching to meet the needs of the students in our classrooms today and in the years to come. I am reminded that Thomas Edison said in 1922: "I believe that the motion picture is destined to revolutionize our educational system, and that in a few years it will supplant largely, if not entirely, the use of textbooks. The education of the future will be conducted through the medium of the motion picture, a visualized education, where it would be possible to obtain one hundred percent efficiency." .... and we're still waiting .... Could that be the fate of the promise and potential of digital technology too? The authors of web 2.0: new tools, new schools, Gwen Solomon and Lynne Schrum, caution that: "even though massive amounts of money have been spent on training educators, we have not seen a real difference in the ways technology has been integrated into the classroom." They quote a U.S. Department of Education Report (2004) which concluded:"We have not realized the promise of technology. Essentially, providing the hardware without adequate training in its use - and in the endless possibilities for enriching the learning experience - meant that the great promise of Internet technology was frequently unrealized."So, could the promise and potential of digital technology for the transformation of learning and education go the same way as that of the motion picture? I think not, for several reasons that include: the world has changed and our students have changed - they are not long going to be content to sit politely and passively in our classrooms while we prepare them for a past age.More later. This article will show you how to achieve that sexy wide chest.Perform exercises that workThere are so many different exercises dedicated to the chest muscles, you could do a different one every day for a year and still have plenty to choose from. Obviously some exercises are better than others. There are some exercises that are a waste of time when it comes to building your upper body fast and the way your want.When it comes to building a big, chiseled, wide chest there are two exercises you must perform. All you need is these two exercises, stick with them and don't be distracted by any other fancy exercises, and you will have a big chest to show off very quickly. Wide grip dips - dips are the best exercise for overall chest development. They give you that strong line below the pecs that no other exercise can create in the same way. Not only do they target the lower chest, but the upper and centre regions too. Keep the dips wide and flare your elbows out to activate all the chest muscle fibres. Get a deep stretch at the bottom and a could contraction/squeezing of the pectorals at the top. Bench press - of course every one knows how good the bench press is at building a bigger chest. It is a great compound exercise that will allow you to lift very heavy weights and stimulate lots of muscle growth. Grab a barbell with slightly wider than shoulder width grip. Lower the weight slowly to the middle of your chest, then push it back up powerfully in a straight line. Keep your elbows at a 45 degree angle the entire time. Progress with these exercises every weekTo increase the size of your chest you must progress with the resistance level of these two exercises. Aim to perform the exercises 1-2 times a week. Perform 3-5 sets of each one. Aim to use a weight that only allows for 8-12 reps. Once you can lift the weight for 12 reps increase the weight.
