Tips to help you Crack NEET 2020
If we go with the Experts and NEET toppers, dedicated practice, as well as revision, are the major factors that can lead to success. If you are a NEET aspirant for the upcoming medical tests, then go through these tips to clear NEET 2020
1.) Know the examination syllabus well
NEET syllabus is as vast as an ocean. Cut down on extra information and focus on important topics. Since we know the NEET exam also covers NCERT syllabus as well, you can compare the syllabus with your Board exam syllabus. It is easier for you if there are common chapters as you will not need to prepare them separately. This will give you ample time to focus on the parts of the syllabus that are not covered.
2.) Refer Good study material
That's the most important element of your preparation! While knowing the right study material for NEET can be a little confusing, with the help of teachers and expert guidance you can choose the right one for NEET. You can consult NEET toppers and see which book they referred. Also, see the NEET topper interviews and try to get an idea about their preparation style. You should prepare study notes for NEET, solve previous years' question papers and take mock tests to improve your pace and accuracy.
3.)Come up with an efficient study plan
Time is precious, yet many aspirants fail to make the proper use of time. Goal setting can be used as a strategy to help the aspirants bring positive changes into their lives. In order to implement the goal setting, make sure to ask oneself some questions: What is my goal? How much effort has to be put in to achieve my goal? Unless you make a complete schedule of the way you want to study, you will not be able to complete NEET syllabus. Plan in advance for the week and figure out chapters/topics that you need to prepare from the very beginning.
4.) Focus on weaker areas
It is possible that you are very strong in one subject and weak in the other. Do not get demotivated by the same. Work harder on the weaker areas to strengthen them. If required, take guidance from a friend/senior/teacher or take extra classes for the subject. It will help in overcoming the fear of your weakness effectively.
5.)Practice mock test papers
One of the main challenges of the NEET examination is time constraint. Students have to finish 180 questions in 3 hours which means they can give a maximum of 1 minute per question. Time management is a required skill for this exam. While practicing at home, make sure that you keep the time constraint in your mind; focus on the frequently asked questions, topics and exam pattern.
6.)Do not fall for guesswork
Many candidates have the habit of taking the guesswork route for solving questions they don't have an idea about. However, it might be risky in this case as there is negative marking for a wrong answer. It is recommended to leave a question if you do not know the right answer. This is one of the most important tips to crack NEET 2020 that anyone can give!

Pros and Cons of Dropping a year for NEET Preparation
Are you going to appear for medical entrance exams (NEET, AIIMS and other medical entrance exams) and you are not confident about your chances?
Or you did not study well for the entrance exam because of your Boards examinations?
This article will try to go through the reasons of dropping out a year to prepare for NEET.
Medical entrance exams are one of the most difficult achievements to unlock.
Medical entrance examinations are difficult to clear due to the increasing competition and vast curriculum.
Physics and Chemistry also add to the stress level of many scholars, decreasing the chances of their success.
Should Scholars drop a year to prepare again?
The feeling of "I want to be a doctor" is very strong in many aspirants leading to dropping a year for their preparation. The number of students dropping a year to study again for NEET is a lot more than those in engineering entrance examinations.
Nevertheless, let's see what could be some advantages and disadvantages of dropping a year to prepare for NEET.
Advantages
● Scholars will get 1 entire year which they can utilize to prepare for their medical entrance examination and actually cover up the huge NEET Syllabus.
● If students took the option early, they hopefully gave their board exams without too much stress and might possibly do even better in entrance examinations as well.
● Scholars will by that time have a very good background and context on all concepts and topics.
● The applicant will be a doctor at the peak of this route, the most honourable occupation of the world.
Disadvantages
● Students miss out on 1 year in comparison to their batchmates who would have started college.
● It is not as easy as it to say. A year of self-study involves a lot of commitment, patience and inspiration.
● As they have dropped a year, the stress of succeeding in the next examination will be much higher.
How to make a choice if you require dropping a year?
Mentioned above are some pros and cons along with thoughts and reasons, and it's most likely that one might have different motives. Take a paper anytime you are in confusion and make a table with pros in one column and cons in one column. Now start noting down your motives and whichever column has considerably more points will be your verdict.
Stick this sheet on your door if you choose to drop as it can be a source of motivation year long.
Studying with college
You can enrol in an alternate degree programme and study along with university which will give you a backup choice. It is even better for medical entrance examinations because you can re-attempt the exam multiple times. This will reduce the burden on you to accomplish the task at hand but on the other hand, may be a source of disturbance, similar to school. This is where your willpower will play a part again.
Make your choice, drop for a year or not, stick to it with complete conviction.

Good Luck!

What’s the Right Path to Crack an Entrance Exam - NEET coaching or self-preparation?
The question of whether you should consider Coaching or Self Study is neither new nor insignificant.
The mode of your preparation should most certainly be a mix of the two options. While coaching gives guidance, self-preparation is required to boost the level of confidence. You can go in for a good coaching institute for NEET preparation that offers comprehensive study material, reference books, recordings of the sessions, doubt removal sessions and more.
Now you can go ahead and club your NEET Coaching with a spirited plan for self-preparation.The doubts that arise during your self-preparation journey can very well be catered by your tutors during the doubt removal sessions.
Once you are able to begin early, you also have ample time to do detailed subject-wise analysis to understand the paper patterns for the past 5-10 years. Moreover, a two-year window is also good enough for multiple attempts at mock tests and getting your concepts straight.
While you prepare for NEET, your NCERT syllabus for classes 11 th and 12th get prepared simultaneously. Are these not enough to motivate you to begin early - while still in class eleven?
As you start your preparations, ensure that you:
Use Time Wisely: You can allot sufficient time to every topic. Analyze the past year papers to know and prepare well the most important topics. Your coaching center planner will also help you with this.
Stay Motivated: When there is a lack of motivation, we don't really know our aim. Reach out to your tutors, school teachers, parents and peers to stay motivated. Keep the competitive spirits burning.
Practice, Practice and Practice: Does practice have a substitute? No! So, enough time means enough opportunities to practice at your own pace.
Stay Healthy and Wise: A healthy mind and body will support you with your goals and ambitions, and vice versa.
All of what has been discussed above portrays the need to start early preparation.
Begin your NEET Preparations from class 11th with academy of PMT to get top ranks and high percentiles in the medical entrance exam.
We have a team of PMT experts, distinguished professors & research scholars of great repute from University of Delhi, IIT Delhi & other renowned institutions on the honorary advisory panel or as a faculty member.

Get the First Mover Advantage with NEET Preparation from Class 11th
If you begin your NEET Preparation journey from class 11th, you will be amongst the few quick starters.
Would you get an advantage out of it? Sure you will.
With two years to prepare for the exam, you will have quite a lot of time.
But don't be overjoyed with the satisfaction of starting early.
So what do you do? You plan the perfect preparation strategy. Understand the advantages and implications of self-preparation as well as NEET Coaching. Choose the ideal mode that keeps you regularly on the track and offers you the scope to learn and enhance your knowledge; every step of the way.
NEET is something that gives wings to so many medical dreams every year. From local nationals to NRIs, lakhs of aspirants compete amongst themselves, to get top ranks and high percentiles in the medical entrance exam. They look for secured admission in MBBS/BDS programs in associated colleges. It's not easy to meet the cut-offs, and some begin preparations from their Class 12th, while others like you can choose to start preparing early at a smooth pace. You also get enough time to simultaneously prepare well for your school exams in class 11th and 12th.
First and foremost, the NEET exam syllabus is a perfect mix of class 11th and 12th syllabus for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
If you begin during your class 12th, you will be stretching your mind and body. Preparing such vast syllabus in a year is not everyone's cup of tea and those who are unable to succeed are forced to lose another year to re-attempt.
Class 11 syllabus is the core of the NEET syllabus for all three subjects. So, while you prepare for your school exams, you can begin referring NEET books for class 11th.
Adopting a pace of preparation allows enough time and you get to devote time to practice, revision, attempting sample tests, doubt removal, etc. This is a stress-free regime for NEET preparation.
