still can’t really record like i want to ( and i’m, without exaggeration, dying) but i recently got the Fifine Ampligame A6T mic & wanted to see how it’d do. it’s been months since i did any regular singing so i’m rusty but i’ve been trying to get a decent recording of this since january & i still don’t like this 😭

i was going to build a whole new world for my future music/story but realized i already had an in progress one. so i just fit this into The Blackthorn Archives

the nerdy tldr: some witches “borrow” magic from deities and Wild witches channel energy directly but its also sentient & won’t let itself be named and it can choose to just…not show up lol so spells can’t be written down bc they might not work that way next time. i made three different sims but think of them like the geth from Mass Effect (or the borg. don’t remember much about Star Trek honestly)

so buildbox released their beta for an ai visual novel creator

so i wanted to see what it would do w/ solar ashes...........................

WHO is this man? what is that sentence?????? also the choices don't mean jack shit. both approach & befriend go to the same thing.

Ashe is also a followerer of Sleria. this is what it gives you if you renounce Korrin. i have multiple posts that explain why this wouldn't happen lol

Ashe had to go to a mountain because, get this, you apparently didn't renounce Korrin & had to prove your loyalty to Sleria. and once again WHO the fuck is this man????

also it gives you the option to let Korrin perish bc his magic is suddenly unstable but if you choose it you get an option to save him with the relic you just got. again you can choose to let him die so you don't take any harm & everyone suddenly cheers bc his magic caused harm? then Sleria gives you a blend of her magic & Wild magic to show she approves of Ashe & Korrin's romance. then you both run off & live happily ever after. as if you didn't let him die

i almost forgot the worse part

after it generates 1 story the bot won't do anything if you don't buy a yearly sub LOL

New Project! DIY/Collaged Tarot Deck

Over the past few weeks, I have been pulling together a group of local witches in my area to form a very casual coven! We all ended up revealing that we are very crafty, so naturally, one of the first projects we wanted to take on as a group was to make our own tarot decks! Right now we are scheduled to make around 8 cards a month, which means we should be finishing the project by the end of the year!

Materials used:

Double-sided tape

Playing card (for the base)

Matte mod podge (for the top coat)

Magazine clippings

To start off with, obviously, we have The Fool. In researching for this card, the main keywords that stood out to me was "new beginnings" and the start of a "journey". When paging through my magazines, one of the first photographs I came across was this beautiful, snowy mountain range with skiers dotting along the bottom of a slope. This image seemed perfect to me and really conveys the image of a new journey and optimism. 

Next, I reviewed the Rider-Waite deck for more inspiration - I saw lots of yellows, and of course, the iconic sun. I decided to add a sun shining in the corner of this card as an ode to the original Rider-Waite deck; also representing bright optimism as the Fool begins his journey.
