heya people, I'm starting a Jurassic Park-themed art challenge for July. Hopefully all goes well and I don't back out of it. For a start: here is my list!

I tried to incorporate a wide range of species from the films and novels, with some focus on the 90s with a lot of species here appearing in the original trilogy and some supplemental material.

No hybrids for better or worse, although I'm still including species which have appeared in mainly Jurassic World and some influence is definitely intended because I do think the trilogy has some good, albeit mishandled, ideas worth hearing out. I've also made sure to add days of rest, as well as some days where you can pick between species, drawing one of the two, maybe both if daring.

Didn’t turn out the way I intended, but it doesn’t matter because loons are always a win.

99% watercolor with some colored pencil details that you can’t really see. Gotta get the rust out somehow.

The Samoan government announced June 3 that it has enacted a law establishing a marine spatial plan to sustainably manage 100% of its ocean by 2030.

The country has also created nine new marine protected areas that cover 30% of its ocean.

Fishing is prohibited in the new protected areas, which include a migration route for humpback whales.
