I have been making changes to my game for YEARS and wasn't always great about documenting where everything was from since I wasn't sharing my game publicly. AccusingSaturn on Twitch Legacy Challenge Rules

We're starting a Sims 2 Legacy Challenge with modified rules on Twitch! If you want to watch our progress check out the stream by visiting twitch.tv/accusingsaturn !

Here are the rules we will be following and the goals of the challenge.

The Basics

The goal of this challenge is to reach the 10th generation in a family WITHOUT cheats. This means no motherlode, no boolprops, no tombstone of life and death. The only cheats we are okay with are decorating or building related (ie: moveobjects on is fine but increasing our money is NOT).

The Rules

Start with a single adult sim. This is our founder. Any aspiration and turn ons / offs.

Place founder on an empty 5x5 lot. This is our "home" for the next 10 generations.

When moving in or marrying sims only NPCs/Townies are allowed to move in.

Children will live on the lot until they reach teens when they will be sent to university.

Upon becoming teenagers the teen's aspiration (and secondary aspiration) will be randomly chosen.

Once a sim moves out (be it a born into the family sim, or an npc sim that moved in) it can not move back UNLESS it is the chosen heir to continue the legacy after completing University.

These are very basic rules and not at all the original ruleset created. I have never actually finished a legacy using the original rules, so I wanted to be sure I had a chance to actually complete one!
