I think from now on I will use appearance of papa emeritus III as a reference for Atlas. The mask for Terzo (Italian for third; "name" of papa emeritus III) has strong Atlas vibes for me.

Just look at it. He just need some wreckles smoothing (Terzo is around 60; or rather was).

I mean she was a big fool honestly, her taste in men was.. Questionable. But we have all been there right? Anyway I wanted to do a pic of Atlas and the way Diane spoke about Atlas was in this sort of awe. She was the few that spoke about him in such a way. He really gave people hope.. But sadly hope can be misplaced.

Detail in Bioshock I hadn’t noticed until now: the picket signs in the bathysphere station have lettering guidelines in pencil, and you can discern brush/marker strokes in the letters themselves

Bioshock: Humanoid Gatherer Concept Collection

I’ve decided to compile all of the official Humanoid Gatherer Concepts from the Bioshock series. Including the Little Brothers, the Robot Sisters, but not the weird goblins or the anthro rodent thing from early Bioshock 1 concepts. Mostly so I have a convenient place where I can go back and find them easily if I want to use them for inspiration for something.

Maybe I’ll make a complete Gatherer Compilation with all of them later. Including Dog in a Wheelchair and Funnel Butt Frog. Because somethings are meant to be shared. Anyways onto the Humanoid Gatherers.

Or the kidnapped girls from There’s Something in The Sea. Some of them gave pictures and stuff.

There isn’t any to be found. I fully believe the BAS Little Sisters where drawn from memory of the Little Sisters from Bioshock 1, and then the models were based off of that. They said, we’ve seen them a hundred times, we know what a Little Sister looks like. Then we got Little Sisters with eyes that don’t glow, wearing clown face paint, looking high out of their mind. Instead of the near feral gremlin children of the first game they were definitely trying to emulate.

I think that’s all of the official Gatherer Concepts that are human children (or designed to mimic human children in the Robots’ case). I don’t know if there is more concept art for the Bioshock 1 Sisters, that bridges the gape between seriously ill child with tubes sticking out of them and mostly normal human child with huge eyes. If there is I can’t find it anywhere online.

Jack is usually portrayed as calm and polite and so on probably because he doesn't speak in the game but what if he wasn't.

Like imagine him being fed up with everyone's shit and he's just sitting on the floor, in a safe place, to catch his breath. Atlas once again is like "Would you kindly get up and go kill Ryan?!", so Jack gets up, he has to, but he snaps.

" I just got my ass drilled, I need a minute! So shut the fuck up, wOuLd yOu KiNdLy?" And Atlas just doesn't know what to say as first.

Every so often I remember that song Ireland by Garth Brooks exists and I get the urge to 1) play Bioshock 1 2) role play Atlas and being as Irish as I can 3) make Irish OC in any fandom
