I am sooooo proud of yuchan for making it into the debut group. Both him and junhee were literally competing with idols that have many more years of experience than them yet they managed to make it this far. This speaks volumes of how talented all the a.c.e members are and I couldn’t be prouder to call myself a choice. This is just the start to a very long successful journey and i can’t wait to be beside them in every step of the way. 💖

Can we all take a moment to consider how absolutely wild it is that 3/5 members of A.C.E took placement in the final 9 of two different large-scale survival shows? Can we consider how wild it is that the other two made it to the last rounds? That is incredible. This is not an old group with a ton of fans to carry them in votes, they are brand new and running only on talent and I cannot begin to express how proud I am of them, and how proud I am to be their fan. If you’re bummed about Chan making it like I know many Choice are (I understand) then just remember why he’s doing this. He stood up on that stage and called out A.C.E’s name. He did this for A.C.E. They are all doing this for A.C.E, and I’d be a fake fan if I didn’t support them in that end-goal.
Trust A.C.E

It bothers me so much that male idols are constantly put in situations where they’re obviously uncomfortable (like showing their abs, etc). This kind of objectifying needs to stop because it’s simply wrong. These idols don’t owe us anything, especially if they’re put in uncomfortable situations. I just hate this whole culture of sexualizing and shallowness. These idols are so much more than their bodies. :(

It’s actually really sad that idols can’t say no to things they’re uncomfortable with without being penalized or bashed. That’s like one basic right every person should have and they can’t even have that… Fans in general really should take this fact into consideration and just put themselves in the idols shoes when they do get a chance to interact. It really shouldn’t be this hard :(

Ok I have a lot of feelings about this and idk if I should make a whole text about it but here I go anyways:
STOP with the abs thing. I’m all for it if the idol is doing it purposely (like Chan did) or if it’s an ‘accidental’ (but very intentional) thing, but making them FORCING into doing this every single time is just not ok
Especially since they have been doing it since their showcase, and the host then told them “all of your abs have to be ready next time”
Especially since Donghun always seems so focused on his weight
Especially since they have been mentioning Sehyoon’s eating habits from the start and it’s an ongoing joke but these are the kind of jokes that turn into very serious issues later on
Especially since all of them at one point or another have referred to themselves as not “being enough” physically, and this may be aggravated or not by the kind of background they already have.
They are at the stage where they are just beginning to get a whole lot of exposure and I don’t want to see the amount of shit it will bring into them mentally when they will be viewed under a magnifying glass from the start. They are not “the leg muscles” they are not the “shorts” (which I have been seen described as RACY UNDERWEAR by some sites) and they are not their “abs”, they are five talented people that can dance, sing and rap, so ask them to sing a bit, ask them to do a silly dance, ask them to imitate a rapper, do dumb penalties like forehead flicking or holding their breath or stuff like that. Don’t make them feel like all they have is their bodies, they are so much than that. So please make them feel like that way, make them feel loved, make them feel happy, make them feel accomplished, and if you want to do a variety worthy thing, make them feel a bit silly, but don’t make them uncomfortable asking for something they have stated to not be ok with.
So please, just please stop with the abs.
