self indulgently imagining the live action scenes of Achilles' grief over patroclus' death accompanied by 'achilles come down' by gang of youths except its fuller and louder. with an entire orchestra backing it. the vocals are intense and they soften as achilles let's the fates do what they want with him.

i think i know the reason for the intimate scenes being so vague between achilles and patroclus while the one between patroclus and deidameia was alot more descriptive,,,

it's because the entire book is patroclus's retelling his memories to thetis. achilles' MUM. he skipped through their sex scenes because he's recounting their lives to the mother of his partner LORD
