Im a bit curious, will all of the sneak peak moments posted on YouTube be free? Or there will be certain moments that are paid DLC?

The Youtube sneak peeks will be potentially of every Moment in the game, free and paid. Even if we don't go that far, there are DLC previews.

In Step 1 the free Moments are: Walks, Wheels, Fancy Fun, Hide & Seek, and Magic.

Colorful Class, Mixed Up, Home, Trick or Treat, and Slumber Party are from the DLC.

Will there be any new characters we will meet and potentially befriend in step 3? Like Ren and Baxter in step 1 and Serenity and Vianca in step 2

As of right now, I know that Step 3 has one brand new friend character to meet and she's quite minor, haha. Mostly, it still focuses on the folks you've met in Step 1 and Step 2. Maybe there will be some other adult figure who runs a store or is an educator or something. I haven't written any of that yet.

Will there be any additions/updates to the MC doll maker in the upcoming demo update? Such as the new color system or options designed by kickstarter backers?

Maybe things will change in the coming weeks, but as of right now none of that is ready to go.

There will the option to customize your eyebrow color in Step 2. As well as other things such as the a new settings screen, the choice tracking feature, calling Opal by her name instead of a title, and etc. But there's still gonna be plenty of stuff left to work on after the new demo comes out.

I ask because in the prologue we're asked what do we think about not having a dad and I'm curious about that because I love the angst material 🫶 you don't have to get into much detail about it! A simple yes or no is enough ☺️

Yeah, that'll come up! I don't know how much angst it will bring since I haven't written it. But I do plan for players to talk about their family situation more.

It's mentioned in the prologue preview of Step 2 in OLNF that we will get to take extracurriculars and I assume a few classes that we get to choose. I was wondering how often these would be mentioned/how they will appear in game? Thank you!

Mostly, it doesn't come up much. But choosing your interests adds certain alterations that are separate from mentioning the class itself. You can know more about a subject because you're involved with that and it will be reflected in the descriptions. Like, there's some alterations where MC uses bigger/fancier words if they're studious or bookish and they use simpler terms if not. Also, there's a few electives/extracurricular that will more meaningful impact certain Moments. For example, if you're in Orchestra with Tamarack, that does change things quite a bit.

Will we be able to give nicknames to characters outside the LIs and Opal?

You can choose to call Mrs. and Mr. Baumann by a grandparent style nickname, like granny, grandfather, etc. It's your choice what it is. In Steps 1 and 2 you can't give any of your peers a nickname. I imagine that will stay the same in future Steps. You might be able to call them a nickname in one-off choices. But a full system to assign nicknames of the players' choice to the wider cast probably won't be there.
