There’s a new guy(?) at my work

He’s kinda cute? like. I was curious and checked out in his line and he like idk it’s probably just how he is/our job as cashiers but he was really easy to talk to (i legit talk to maybe 3-4 coworkers on a consistent basis)

he also said hi to me when i walked in.

His name kinda cute too 🤭

but he’s leaving the minute i get back from break..????

sigh idk when we’d both work together though or his age (he might be college student on break or have a gf already but like

quick little sneak peak ramble to my version of the operator/slenderman

So like.. he’s an eldritch creature, old as fuck. Tired as fuck. Kinda just wants to exists for awhile.

About also he’s a power hungry mofo.. but like he also don’t wanna destroy and rebuild the world like some other fucker.. 😒

His goal legit is just get as much power and control that he can. And that will be through fear ✨ cause what’s a better way of control than fear. But he also hates going on in public, same dude same. Thats where proxy’s come in.

They do stuff for him but also have chores from the house and occasionally the forest (rarely, the forest can handle itself. Usually.)

He’s.. he calls the proxy his children but he doesn’t see many of them as that. They are simply just called that because he provides them everything a parent would ya know?

Basically just their boss.

Though he does care. Because these people- his proxy’s, are what give him his power, feed his hunger for it. Do the work he could care less about doing.

They are his ‘children’ after all.

Maddi Lynn Volkov — Moadboard & additional headcanons

‘The Hunter’

So this is a majority the thing people call them. Because Maddi straight hunts down their target/‘prey’ like a wolf and early humans did: persistence hunting. If you think you can out run them… think again cause they’ve trained for this, daily runs, did track and cross country in highschool. Occasionally hiking, very rarely though. Leaving you one moment catching your breath, thinking you’re okay, the next you’re on the ground with Maddi already at your neck, teasing you. Messing with your mind, before ending it at a moments notice.

But ‘The Hunter’ is also their way of dealing with their more socially unacceptable traits, the aggression, the low empathy, the need of control control, the chronic boredom, all of it moments for their presented personality to fall.. even though their presented personality is their way to maintain some control, their bubbly personality being seen as a weakness, they underestimate them.

They.. are trying, but it’s very hard to keep any progress, two steps forward, one step back. They don’t try any of the things they had while in therapy, haven’t had the time + the first month they’d had spent in a dissociative episode.

But, The Hunter is more then a name, its way to separate actions and aid their ASPD.

Maddi & Wolves

Maddi & wolves, i’ve talked briefly about this in another post. Maddi holds wolves in very high regards. They treat certain traits with respect: among that is Loyalty. Loyalty and able to talk with others, make connections, to them that’s what make you intelligent. Along with a few other minor traits.

But also they will absolutely go ape shit/pos if given wolf relate items. A whole corner of their room is wolf things. It’s like a little shrine/hoard. Will yap if given the change to. Absolutely their favorite thing.

Also if you couldn’t tell.. Maddi is very fashioned after said creature. Their mask resembles a specific wolf from their childhood: Andy, that was their litter mate, and he was theirs in his eyes.

There’s a softness, a rare one, when they speak of wolves. More emotion than they usually get out. They wouldn’t be alive without them. They owe then the feelings, they believe anyway.

Fashion

Converse and boots kinda person, also loves loves loves trapper hats and Ushankas. They really are the adam sandler of camping wear though. When they aren’t in their typical 2000s inspired fits, they look like they’re gonna go camping.

Okay but fox though Maddi has like one or two Trapper hats and Ushankas. Loves wearing them inside and just vibing. The fur tickles.

Bad Days

Now to get a bit.. angstier? On their bad days, maybe they’ve missed eating their victims enough to start feeling the draw backs of their cannibalism addiction, but commonly it’s when their PTSD and Dissociative disorder begins to act up. Often times, if they’re able to they may seek out one of the few people they trust, which is about four..? ish. For deep pressure therapy or to talk, to keep them from slipping further. Often times that is Toby.

But on the days that they aren’t able to get to someone before they may end up in their room or hallway or some other public place. Where the mansion—knowing everything it does and needs to—may guide someone to Maddi, whether it be spine who can get one they need or is the person they need.

Maddi never likes to mention these days outside of when they happen.

Them missing their days at eat though? often is when the stronger proxy’s like Tim or Brain find them and carry them into the forests domain, The forest knows what to do.

Habits

They have quite a few random habits, one if them just so happens to be biting. They will just latch on, un caring of how you feel about it. You just gotta deal with it!

If Maddi is hunting non-human prey, they tend to wish the creature well before making the death quick and painless. Having more care than the humans they hunt.

Even when they want to make it long and painful. They fight the intrusive thoughts, for them. It is the cycle of life, but they can try to not be cruel.. when they aren’t going through the withdrawal effects.
