If you use a leaf blower like this and you live next to a house with two huskies, one brown one white, where the brown one spends all day outside, and there’s a car parked on the side of the street because there’s 3 cars and only space for 2 to sit side by side in the drive way. It’s you. If you live next to someone with all those descriptors and you use a leaf blower I’m talking to you. Stop using the fucking leaf blower.

It is fascinating to me to watch her eye movements. She’s blind, she has no reason to be moving her eyes. And yet automatically she does. When she takes a moment to think, her eyes move up, like anyone else’s would. I knew there was no vision reason for the “thinking look” with eyes, but to see that it happens with even blind people is so interesting. Why do we do that? So much automatic expressiveness in just eye movements. It’s so fascinating.

Also her eyes are pretty.

I know this has nothing to do with the topic of the video, I just wanted to share my thoughts on this. I think it’s cool, the things we do.

I have two friends who I accidentally misgender fucking constantly, but I treat them well. My brain has trouble updating information, and it’s been slow going. But it happens less often the more I hang out with them.

Being an idiot is fine. Being hateful is not.

I'd rather hang out with someone who keeps accidentally calling me slurs but treats me like a person, than someone who actively polices every word anyone says and acts like belonging to a marginalised group is my only redeeming quality as a person.

I’ve been aware of this concept since I could vote. I turned 18 in 2013, so my first chance to vote was 2016. I did not vote, because I thought “surely he won’t win, there’s no way that would happen.”

I have since began to understand just how flawed this country is, and I have voted in both 2020 and 2024. And I will be voting in every election from now on. If blue wins by a landslide, I’m one of them. If blue only gets 1 vote, that’s me. If blue gets 0 votes I’m dead. I consider myself a centrist, but this country is so red that centrist is firmly in blue territory right now.

Sorry that got a little ranty. I needed to say it and this just happened to be the place that caused it to be said.

Guys, you can be annoyed by things and NOT say shit about it. You know that right? I’ve been annoyed by the repeat comics before but you’re not gonna see me say anything about it, outside this post. Contrary to what some of y’all believe, you don’t need to share every thought you have.

“Oh I’m bad at filtering my thoughts” then shut up, that’s an option. I’m neurodivergent with many mental health issues that all lead me to misspeaking. But this is a text medium. You have to take the time to type these things out, you have ample time to stop, to delete your message, to shut the fuck up. I recommend you do it. You’re being a shitty person. Go to therapy.

Floored once again by the audacity of people telling me to make my comics shorter.

Imagine going up to someone and being like, “Hey that thing you worked on for weeks? That thing you poured so much of your free time into? That thing I agreed to see by following your content? Can you make it like, not as in my face? Can you just chop off parts of it because my poor finger got tired scrolling through it. Just make it exactly to my specifications.”

I have given people so many options to block my comic tags, if you’re incapable of curating your own dash that ain’t my problem.
