Hello again, friends. I come with some very sad news. Thanks to the people who helped me with commissions, I was able to take my dog to the vet today. They bandaged her up, and later, I took her for some X-rays. However, the doctor who treated her spoke to me about the type of fracture she has and said that she needs to be operated on urgently, because if not, she will be left with a limp leg and lifelong pain. She urgently needs that surgery. I don’t know who else to turn to for help, but if you could donate at this moment or spread the message, it would be a great help. I have spent all my savings between my dog Oyku’s pyometra and now Nikki’s fracture, and I really need a miracle to get out of this situation. I will attach the X-rays and other photos below to verify what I’m saying. I’ve asked for quotes at different places, and the only vet who replied said the cost would be 400 USD, which I don’t have right now. Any kind of help would be a blessing for us at this moment. Thank you very much for reading, and please help me spread this message. Here’s my Ko-Fi for anyone who can help my poor dog.

Hey everyone,

Today, I’m reaching out with a heavy heart because difficult things just keep happening at home. My sweet one-year-old puppy, Nikki, who has always been so full of energy and joy, loved to jump around nonstop… but today, in a terrible accident, she broke her little leg.

Seeing her in pain is breaking my heart, and I need to take her to the vet as soon as possible for X-rays and the necessary procedures to help her heal. However, I’m currently in a very difficult financial situation. There are still many days before my mother receives her pension, and this will be a truly tough time for me.

I know there are many kind souls here who love animals as much as I do, and that’s why I’m asking for your help. Any donation or commission you can request from me will be a lifeline for Nikki and a chance for her to run and play again.

UPDATE:

I just visited a vet thanks to the help of one of my costumers, and they gave her pain medication for the day. Now I need to take her for X-rays and also buy a prescription for the pain meds. From here on, I’ll be able to know what kind of fracture she has and whether she’ll need surgery. I kindly ask for your help, it’s urgent. From a desperate dog mom to all of you, people with big hearts and love for animals

back when midnight sun was officially announced, i wrote a post talking about my experience as a white fan of the series, back when i was younger and as i’ve grown and educated myself and interacted with the fandom more and more. now that tumblr lets you pin a post, i wanted to make a new post for resources, because the original post is a lot to scroll through and i wanted the links to be more accessible + easier to find.

under the cut is links to learn about racism (both in general and specifically anti- indigenous, as that is the largest issue present in the twilight books), ways to help, and links to check out various indigenous creators that deserve your support. always open to suggestions of links to add, in any of the categories. if i have linked your post/blog/website/etc. and you do not want it linked, please let me know and i will remove it asap. updated often.
