The monster from yesterday’s comic in full. I present my rip-off Red Dragon Archfiend, aka Infernal Flame Dragon Emperor.

Generic Thunder support, though it would probably only see play in Thunder Dragons.

A Trap Monster. I’ve always had a soft spot for this gimmick, though I prefer Tiki Soul and Tiki Curse to the Paleozoics.

I made skeleton versions of some memes.
Have fun with them, I guess.

I present “Neo Arcana Force,” basically retrains of the first 9 Arcana Force cards, with the same levels, types, attribute, and stats, but better effects. Just in case you’ve got a lot of nostalgia for the old AF cards, these do support the original archetype.

While I’m feeling inspired, I decided to expand a bit on my gooey boy. Pile isn’t just a mindless monster, it’s capable of emotions and has basic survival instincts. I took inspiration from Marvel’s Venom for the more monstrous form and for how to portray its emotions (since it wears an unchanging mask). My perspective needs work.

I saw Spirited Away ONCE when I was seven or eight. I bring that up because No-Face from that movie has been a present artistic influence for me. Masks are fascinating, and I love drawing creatures that wear them. Other influences for this work include: fantasy slimes, the Puppet from FNAF, gooey creatures like Muk from Pokémon and Clayface from Batman, and the Seekers from BATIM.

HERO Tool Box 2019 Takes 2-1-1 At Locals
I took my HERO Tool Box deck to a locals tonight. I played against Cyber Dragons (Win), Six Samurai (Draw), Lunalights (Lose), and a super casual Deck (Win). Six Samurai and Lunalights proved to be challenging matchups for similar reasons: Special Summoning a ton of Monsters. I play Solemn Warning at 1 as my only Negate, because every other card in my deck is dedicated for Extra Deck plays: Fusion and Link, mostly. Not even the Kaijus I sided in where much help, because I couldnt disrupt my opponent’s plays, only remove threats on my turn. Any recommendations for handtraps?

I’ve been binging Yugioh Zexal lately. It starts off rough, but gets really good around the middle of season 1. Anyway, I ended up having a dream about Yugioh Zexal. Yuma was dueling some other kid, I think a character my brain made up, and he used a Field Spell that turned their duel into a Table Tennis match.
I tried to bring that card from my dream to life for y’all, but it didn’t work out. So, here’s a gamble card instead!
