Scenes without a story: a warrior’s promise 🌊⚔️

I wanted to draw a specific scenario I’d visualized but didn’t have a detailed story to fit it into. Might do this more with THL and V3 if people enjoy it

The idea is that returning from a raid on an invader base the school bus was attacked, and in the chaos someone dies and Takumi is thrown from the bus and left behind. His morale already abysmal from a series of defeats and casualties, he basically gives up and waits for the invaders to get him.

Escaping the attacker, the others return to the LDA, but nightfall, stormy conditions, and the general consensus that Takumi has failed as a leader and isn’t worth risking lives to rescue prevent any search from occurring.

Kyoshika, indebted to him for saving her skin in an earlier battle, refuses to abandon her “lord and master”, and against the advice of literally everyone she sets off on a solo search mission. Normally sending the room temperature IQ samurai on her own would be suicide, but she does possess an uncanny amount of luck…

Or maybe not, and nothing I wrote here makes any sense at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
