Week 15
This is the last week! My group was in stress out mode. It is time for us to complete the film. We were kinda behind, but I know we were in the zone to finish all of the scenes and artwork that we needed to finish. We stayed up as long as we could to finish everything. I had an awesome time working not just with our group, but with everyone together to finish the same type of project. I am really proud of everyone in my group and in the class, and I can’t wait to improve everything I can do better on so we can submit our film into a festival. Im a sad the semester is over, but I am ready for what comes next!.

Week 14 - Shayne H.
This week was very difficult to continue working. I was having a hard time pushing out a lot of animation. My workflow was very slow. It took me almost half of the week to actually find the groove again. It is getting very close to the end of the semester. I think it's going to be a very tight time crunch, but I know that my group will be able to get it done.

Week 14 and 15 Sean Sugimoto
The last two weeks were crunch time and got a lot of scenes done! Main thing was coloring scenes and finishing everything for our animated film by this week. It was very productive and I got to see everyone for group meetings. I think today was the most productive since we managed to finish all our animated scenes and excited to see it! I finished the ending and it was really intense being the last part of the film. I had a great time with my group working this semester and we did it! We got all the shots done! Thanks everyone and hope to see everyone again next semester! Have an awesome winter break everyone!^_^b

Week 12 - Shayne H.
This week was very relieving and challenging. It was the thanksgiving weekend, and so man things were happening that weekend. Family dinners, black Friday work, and time to do holiday shopping. I was so excited for all of these events happening in such a short time. I wasn’t able to progress in the project, but a break was well appreciated.

Week 15 - Allison Jean Comlat
WE DID IT!! At least.... 90% of it. The entire film isn’t colored, I did not get to put all the sounds I wanted, and the timing gets a little off here. Literally pulled an all nightery with all of my classmates. It was a bad and good experience. I had fun. Can’t wait to sleep. My next goal for my group: I want us to finesse the film for the ACM awards and HIFF.

We did it!!!!!!! Finally finished the film and we all pulled an all nighter for crunch time. Exhausted, losing it mentally, and barely functioning, but we reached the end goal! It’s over and I’m happy with the process and finish.

It’s getting down to the grind week. Been lining Rina’s work to help get shots done. Pretty much gotta color in the last week and put together the sounds and fill out paperwork and make the electronic press kit.

Week 14 - Allison Jean Comlat
All I did was a couple of edits for the 420 film. Just added a couple of new shots into the film but no sounds were edited in. We are headed towards the last week of the film and the pressure is on for sure. I don’t think we’ll be getting sleep any time soon. Coffee and crying sure sounds like what I am gonna be dealing with this week. Ahhhhhh….

Week 14? - Rina
I honestly don’t remember what week it is.
Anyways, same thing as usual. Staying up late trying to finish all assignments. I got my other homework out of the way first so I could devote all my time to our 420 film. Thinking about it, I prefer working in a team than alone because it just makes life so much easier. And I enjoy the drawing sessions we have too. We’re just trying to punch out everything and then I have to design the sound as best as I can when everything is in. Let’s see this happen.

I don’t know if we need one for this week since the last official day of instructional classes was Thursday, but I’ll do one anyways. This week has been stressful just realizing how close the deadline for our film is, only being a week away. Everything is moving very fast and I wish there was more time, but I am staying hopeful that it will all work out and be good in the end.

Week 13 - Production Post
This week was a lot slower than usual. Thanksgiving was a very nice break from our production, but it was difficult for most of us to get back into the production. Once it was the middle of the week all of us were able to get back in the groove again. Shayne was able to work on backgrounds, Allison worked on the animatic, and everyone else worked on the other animations scenes. The next week will give us much more time to meet up and put more hours into the production.

Going back to school after the break was pretty rough. With the separate film out of the way, I can direct my attention back to my assignments. I’m trying to get all my other junk out of the way in order to heavily focus on our film. I’m going to try and finish my other work from my two classes and get it over with. Afterwards, it’s gonna be all about our film.

I only spent yesterday doing one of my shots for the film. I did not update the animatic. I hate how I have too much projects. 5 projects....yeahhhhh….
I congratulate those who are keeping up the pace. You guys definitely deserve a big high five. A BIG high five.
I am burnt out. So much. I am looking forward to finishing this film.

Week 12 - Rina
Turkeys.
Thanksgiving break wasn’t really a break at all. I at least got to sit down and eat with my family and sleep in, but I had to go back to work for the weekend. The weekend was used for reshoots for my separate film project, which took all day. After the wrap, I could barely stay awake to do any animation work so I just went straight to bed.
Not a very productive break, I know.

This week was very hard because I felt like there was very little time for everything I needed to get done. I was able to get some more progress done with more final line work finished. I am hoping to continue steam rolling through the scenes since I know exactly what I need to get done. We are well underway in our film.
