Some fucker stole the catalytic converter from my wife's Prius last night, and after a morning dealing with cops, insurance, car rentals, etc. I'm now hoping that the insurance company doesn't just write the thing off because of its age and condition. Don't really want to be looking for a new car right now.

Our air conditioner failed last night, the landlords didn't get anyone out to look at it until 5:00, and it wasn't just an (easily replaced) starter capacitor; they're going to have to either order a new compressor fan or get a contractor out to replace the entire unit. Yee-haw.
