so a couple of days ago I was watching the little mermaid and had a thought that after some googling doesn't look like is a thing people have talked about/considered.
So like, the original little mermaid is a tragedy that's about unrequited love but what if things had went down in more of a gift of magi way? Where the guy had found a human witch doctor to turn him into a mermaid while she was getting herself a pair of legs and they're basically at square one...
