Hey, besties - been awhile, hasn't it?

Long story short, there's been quite a handful of things that have completely changed everything for me. This includes a new addition to my family - my first nephew "Corn/Korn" will be arriving sometime this Wednesday or Thursday! It's still hard to believe that he's actually going to be here, lol. Practically, though, I will be helping out my sister with my nephew since there's a chance she'll have to have a c-section, and my "job" makes me more available to help out.

Anywho - having to take time away from the blog made me feel a bit guilty, but ultimately, it's what I needed. It gave me time to reflect on what exactly I was wanting to do with the blog. There were times where I've contemplated just giving up on writing all together. Overall, I'm just not really liking how things are going right now whenever it comes to the blog and my writing style as of right now. I want to start off with a "clean slate" - maybe having a less dark and broody blog theme, going back and editing older posts, and then plan a little bit for the future. I'm hoping that this will help bring back my motivation and make writing feel good again.

So, ultimately being infected and going through the rebirth process, they essentially "turn", and we know of the different variations of the zombies. Therefore, we essentially know that Cadenza is of the Screamer infected while Thurston is assumed to be of a Crusher infected. (Then there was the failed Burster and failed Mutator).

That got me wondering, what infected types would the Slayers be? I could image Ryan being a Crusher, Carla possibly being a Butcher, and then I'm kinda debating about Bruno being a Mutator? What are y'all's thought? Do you think that the Slayers are one of the already known infected types or maybe even one that's unknown (until/if we get Dead Island 3)?

Hazard is known to be quite the contrarian amongst his fellow peers, always being quite passionate and vocal about opposing and rejecting popular opinions, though there were a couple of things that he was willing to let slide past that aspect of him. Music happened to be one of those things. Ultimately, he’s stuck with music that compliments his own appearance and aesthetic: Green Day, Sleep Token, The Cranberries, etc- but whenever it comes to his bonnie lass and her band, he’ll listen to what genre they happen to be performing. Country music? Well, Hazard thinks that he might look good with a cowboy hat on. Classical? He’s not really a classical person, but maybe she’ll let him hold the baton every once in a while? Screamo? It might take him reading the lyrics while listening to (Y/N) and the band to truly understand what’s being said. Anywho, while the genre of music that the band plays might not be his exact cup of tea, or what he would’ve expected from the girls, he’ll still be very supportive and encouraging! 

There isn’t any other person out there that’s as dedicated and loyal to the band, whether it be as a fan in the crowd or someone helping behind the scenes, as Hazard is! Throughout the daytime of a musical event that (Y/N)’s band is going to be participating in later that evening Hazard could be found right at her side, and he’s not departing from (Y/N) unless he absolutely has to. If there’s a period of time where (Y/N) and the band are having to take some time to write out autographs or do some interviews with fans then he’s sitting right next to her or standing off to the side close to her, making sure that’s she’s doing alright underneath the all the pressure of meeting the fans. A quick lunch break in between? “Whit’re ye in the mood for, hen? "There’s some braw-lookin’ mac an’ cheese bites o’er there at the vendor. Or maybe ye fancy some Italian sausage hoagies?" Whenever (Y/N)’s about to perform he’s wherever she wants him to be. In the backstage waiting for her to take a break, to make sure that he's got water ready for her, got to make sure his girlfriend stays dehydrated, a kiss for doing so well on that previous song! If he’s within the crowd watching the performance out front, he’s definitely in the front row, a bonus of being the boyfriend to his beautiful (Y/N). While celebrating successful performances within other bands are typically hosting some after party, getting completely wasted off of their asses, that’s definitely not the case with (Y/N) and her band. The women, along with a select few others such as Hazard, spend the remainder of the night within their enormous and luxurious tour bus, turning it into an absolute, well deserved selfcare treatment night. It’s quite a lot for Hazard, a bit overwhelming as well, but if (Y/N)’s going to get it done, then he definitely is too! The whole package as well! Manicure, pedicure, a facial- there’s a soft giggle of amusement that escapes past (Y/N)’s lips as she watches Hazard sneak a little smear of his avocado facial mask onto his finger before it quickly disappears into his mouth, “Babe! Just because it’s made with avocados doesn’t mean that you should eat it!” Hazard finds it quite interesting about how chatty the women are, and the topics they talk about as quite intriguing as well. It’s nice to just spend the remainder of the night with his woman in his lap, his hands resting upon her hips whenever they're not sneaking small fruits and other snacks off the multiple charcuterie boards, taking in the gossip and tea.

“-Thinkin’ about tweaking the chorus on this one,” It’s nights such as this one that the duo have come to cherish the most, that both Hazard and (Y/N) come to look forward to every chance that they get. There’s no need to be running around backstages trying to stick to a tedious schedule between costume changes and microphone checks. There’s no sitting there for hours on end signing autographs until hands are extremely cramped, answering the same question fifty-billion times. It’s just the two of them sitting upon the balcony of their shared apartment in the later evening, (Y/N) nestled in Hazard’s lap with a guitar in her hands, fingers strumming across the guitar strings, a soft melody echoing within the air around them. While (Y/N)’s more skilled whenever it comes to songwriting, this time she’s allowing Hazard to help out because this particular song is special. One, one that’s not for the band itself, but for just the two of them. I figured I'd go ahead and let y'all know that the ultimate masterlist for Overwatch and the individualized character lists for Overwatch have been completely updated, and with a new look as well! (Definitely feeling better about those new banners too, go me!)

Anyways, I'm debating if I want to go back through the older posts from whenever I had started the blog to edit and polish those posts, I've even had the urge to rewrite some of the posts as well, but that's still up in air.

For the meantime I will probably take the rest of the week as a little break and then start and/or continue on posts that've been setting in the inbox (some of them have been sitting in the inbox for like almost two years now and I'm sorry) on Monday. As for other masterlists for other fandoms, I think I will just create the ultimate masterlists for them and then just make individualized masterlists for the characters when/if something gets requested for them to save me time and energy.
