Terminó, no paro de repetirlo. Terminó. Pero no me lo creo. Un 30 de junio comenzó este Action x Change 2017 y hoy, 26 de julio, hace una semana y media que no me despierta la rara música de Alex, que ahora tanto echo de menos; que no me asomo desde la litera de arriba para ver como Faima duerme tranquila; que no me saludan más de 70 caras sonrientes; que no danzo entre el calor y la brisa de la noche; que no siento la tensión de preguntas existenciales a mi alrededor ni las hormonas en el aire; ni el temor de un virus haciéndose paso entre suspiros y abrazos.

Se terminó. No paro de repetirlo y no es verdad. No es ningún final y nunca lo será. Para mí se siente como la continuación de un viaje que ya comencé hace mucho y que andaba perdida no sabiendo por donde continuar. Para algunos parece que sea el comienzo de otra vida, una totalmente diferente, una vida con nueva gente entrelazada con los de siempre, nuevas motivaciones y nuevo poder del saber que lo puedes todo.

Es intangible, tan potente e intenso lo que compartimos que cuesta describirlo siendo fiel a la verdad.

Gracias chicos, gracias por transmitirme toda su energía y darme mucho más valor del que ustedes creen que tienen. Demuéstrenle al mundo que lo pueden todo, así como lo hicieron junto a nosotros en este Action x Change 2017.

It’s done. I keep repeating it to myself. It’s done. But I don’t believe it. Action x Change 2017 started on the 30th of June and today, 26th of July, it has been a week and a half since we last said goodbye. 12 days since Alex’s weird music doesn’t wake me up, and now I’ve started to miss it. 12 days since I don’t lean out to see Faima sleeping calmly, since 70 smiley faces don’t say “hello” when I pass by, since I don’t dance amidst the warmth of the day and the breeze of the night, since I don’t feel the existentialism knocking on my door nor the hormones floating in the air, nor the fear of a virus making its way through sighs and loving hugs.

It’s finished. I keep repeating it but it is not true. This is not an end and it will never be. For me it feels like the continuation of a journey I began long time ago. A journey in which I was lost trying to find the way. For some it might look like the beginning of another life, a new one, with new people intertwined with the old ones, new motivations and the new power of knowing that you can do it all.

It is intangible, so powerful and intense what we shared that it is hard to describe it honestly.

Thank you, thank you for showing me all your energy and for giving me much more bravery than you think you have. Show the world that you can do it all, just like you showed us in this Action x Change 2017.

Constantemente vemos como las personas crecen, las plantas mueren o los animales se reproducen. Viajamos, conocemos, crecemos, cambiamos. Todo, de una manera u otra, cambia. Estamos, están, en constante movimiento y no podemos hacer nada para remediarlo. Nos cambiamos de ropa, de zapatos, incluso nos maquillamos. Pero, ¿hasta que punto hay un cambio? Puede haber un cambio aparente, sin haber un cambio interno o un cambio externo y, a veces, incluso, puede haber un cambio interior que cambie la manera de verte, la manera en la que te ven los demás y puede que ya ni tú te conozcas.

A la mejor experiencia de mi vida:

Me has cambiado tanto, tanto, tanto que no sé ni por dónde empezar. Nunca me había sentido tan comprendida, siempre he tenido amigos pero nunca he sentido que pertenezco a algo. Hasta que llegué aquí. Aquí donde el cambio es posible, donde quizás los demás no tengan tu misma opinión pero te respetan. Aquí donde siempre hay alguien dispuesto a escucharte, ya sea actioner o facilitador, donde no existe algo que nos cohíba y donde ya no solo creamos relaciones entre nosotros, sino que también, empezamos a relacionarnos mejor con nosotros mismos. Porque no solo conocemos personas, también empezamos a conocer quién somos. Pero también soñamos, soñamos tanto y con tanta pasión que eso nos une, aunque somos más realistas y más concretos. Y nos damos valor unos a otros, ya sea en forma de aplauso o con una sonrisita desde el otro lado de la Pecera. Y también reímos, bailamos, cantamos, amamos, lloramos y reflexionamos. Solo me queda que decir una cosa; os quiero mucho.

It's been 72 hours since we left Google Campus almost drown in tears. 3 days and it's still hard for me to assimilate each and every fact of the experience that surely changed my summer and probably my entire life. After being selected, I surfed the whole Internet in order to find as many sites about AxC as possible. Everyone who had gone to this camp said it was life-changing, intense, one of their best experiences... Now I get the point of these opinions, now I realise that these were more than just nice words. It's the easiest way to define a undefineable experience. I never thought I had the chance to speak four languages, or at least try to do so, at the same time -you know for sure that is a mess to speak more than a language at the same time, let alone four. Afterwards I realised that the most beautiful melody is the combination of so many languages sounding at the same time. I never thought I could get out of my comfort zones. Here's a simple example: I'm not scared of water anymore! You might be laughing out loud, how the freaking hell is this girl scared of water at sixteen? Yep, it's awkward, but one year ago I couldn't even jump onto a pool. I never thought you would become my family, my soulmates, I never thought that only fifteen days could make us that close. My family was small, we were three members, until I met you on June 230, 2017. Therefore, now I have 59 new members. And of course, the facilitators too! We don't have blood ties, we haven't even been born in the same places. But you're the proof that sharing a few days together can be stronger than our blood, our birthplaces when it comes to be a family. I'm not able to enumerate how many things I will miss. I will even miss that weird remix of What's Up every morning. Or our bread-and-salad based diet. Yet the moving beds! -fortunately I slept in my bed, not in the one under mine. But, guess what? I won't miss you at all. You're now a part of my life, why would I miss you? You miss someone who's not anymore a part of your life. I only miss your presence. And hopefully we can solve that problem! I'm looking forward to see you all again. I don't know where I come from, I must have repeated that like 150000 times during the camp, but I know where I'm going to. The UWC community. Each and every person who shared this amazing time with me. You are my destination now. Never forget how worth you are. You willingness to change the world totally surprised me. Future is looking to us, and I'm so glad to building it up next to you. To make a change together. Yours truly, Miranda.
