I have a trick too! if you're ever unsure whether you're real, try making text float. It won't solve the philosophical question but it WILL make you feel better about it.

a trick i learned that i do now before checking shadow libraries (bc annas-archive which i tend to use is often kinda slow) is that u can just search "[book name] pdf" and a lot of the time it'll just be there on some random website, or achive.org or so on. sometimes it looks like the book is in the site index or something & they didn't actually mean to make it accessible but u can access and download it. so that's helpful
