          he turns to her with a raised brow when she speaks, but his expression softens.  atticus takes one last sip from the glass of water in his right hand before its sat gently upon the tabletop to his right.  there’s a gentle sway to his step, wandering in offset directions besides approaching straightforward.  he raises fingertips to brush at a few curled hairs near the base of left horn, lips pursed in thought before falling back to a smile.

          “ somebody has to do it, yeah?  desperate times call for softer measures or... something like that, ” a quiet chuckle towards his own saying rings out directly after, nearly cutting off the end of his sentence.
