Mini Bio: I’m the baby of 7, love horseback riding and catchin the holy ghost onstage is pretty much my favorite thing in life, outside of stirring up as much philanthropic mischief in life as possible.
What is your craft/career/creative expression?
I’m a singer/songwriter, philanthropic mischief maker, I enjoy ravishing stages w/ big bands making audible art.
How long have you been working at your craft?
Since 2006.
Why do you consider yourself a Black Weirdo?
Cause I’m an African American or wait, black, left handed, passionate and very artistic woman. I’m a part time socially awkward, semi paranoid yet lively and extroverted product of American society, trying to navigate my way to my destiny in a world that wasn’t exactly made in a way that is conducive to that. My voice and art are my job. I grew up in the hood in Southern California and had no idea I’d be living this life. Still adjusting.Â
