I think some people genuinely forget how gay ahkj was, we got two illegaly-operating healthcare workers living in a cave that bicker like an old married couple; an advisor–whom canonically has done drag, kissed a guy (and lets not forget the entirety of true bromance, I Maurice and the entirety of exiled) and the king of lemurs—who said multiple times he doesn't fw labels, has seen to also dabble in drag and keeps having situationships with his bestfriends; an average guy in extreme comphet that has homoerotic tension with his alter ego—and since we're on the topic of comphet; the entirety of Clover's character; Mort; and of course, the canon gay couple of the show: Karl and his cockroach bf Chancey💜

been playing a lot more Animal Crossing than usual, and i've been trying to draw something like this for 5 years... so now i'm combining special interests together! Actor AU style!

some notes:

if personalities weren't gender locked, Porky would be normal and Daffy would be peppy--especially in the older games, it feels like lazy and jock were the closest thing to an inverse for those personalities, hence the decisioning here

i gave Porky the pre-City Folk pig design to help differentiate him from Petunia and because i prefer the pre-CF pig designs

i based their hobbies off of the Wild World hobbies... even if Petunia is holding a purse, which is for the fashion hobby in New Horizons

Daffy's bug catching hobby is solely so he can whack people (Porky) over the head with a net
