Linda should have remembered Wally in Rebirth. I know why they chose Barry but it should have been Linda. Their love transcended a deal with the devil. Wally came back from heaven to be with her. She has drawn him from the Speed Force time and time again.
Like... Barry loves Wally, of course he does. But frankly, Wally loves Barry more than Barry loves Wally. Barry loves Iris enough to remember her. Loves his mom enough to remember her but Wally? Idk, I can't say that before Rebirth I would have said his love was enough to be Wally's lightning rod.
Imagine the angst for Wally of his hero simply being unable to remember him. Iris would, wouldn't change that. But Barry, the reason Wally has powers, the reason he became a hero. His father figure. The man he tried to live up to for years, doesn't remember him. Not only that but the hole he should have left... Simply does not exist.
Meanwhile Linda remembers but Wally is always worried she'll forget him again. And she remembers but she was also living a different life without him for years and how does she reconcile that. How did she forget Wally? And neither of them remember their children. Or even more difficult... Linda does but Wally does not.
Anyway, my point is it never made sense that Linda only remembers when their kids come back because that implies their children are all that connected the two but that is sooo far from the case.

It really interesting to me that, despite Wally West and Linda Park having one of the most consistent and stable relationships in all of comics, they've basically never been a couple in any adaptations. Like, Linda appeared in Justice League Unlimited but only for one episode and just had a one sided crush on the Flash. The only other adaptation I can think of where they both appeared in was the Arrowverse, but as far as I'm aware they never met in any of the shows.
To be clear, I'm not like upset at it or anything. I just find it really odd.
