It wasn’t that Sage didn’t really want to get to know people because he did, but the immediate question of a friends with benefits thing was slightly off-putting to him, if anything because of the fact that it came out of no where. Then again this app was meant for this kind of thing. Of course a few of the people he was matched with he wouldn’t even think of because of age and other things but if Adelaide wanted a friends with benefits type deal he wasn’t going to turn her down. Sex was sex and Sage was never going to deny himself the pleasures of it.

So he set up his place with some kind of welcoming situation. Beers on the coffee able in front of his couch and the TV had some reruns of a crappy show that they probably wouldn’t pay attention to. A part of him didn’t want to invite the girl over if only because it would just further the whole Christian Gray persona that was pegged on him. It wasn’t his fault his family was literally as rich as it came and he just continued to mooch off that. 

With the buzz of her arrival, he smoothed his shirt and let the blonde in, pleased that she was at least who she said she was.

“Come on in, make yourself comfortable. If beer isn’t what you fancy I’ve got wine and there is an array selection of Chinese food.”

Adelaide wasn’t sure what she was doing exactly, but her being a little too forward had gotten her this far and she didn’t think it would be cool to back out now. It wasn’t that she didn’t want a friends with benefits, she didn’t care about that the only thing she cursed herself over is just how awkward and silly she may have sounded. She started to wonder how some people could pull off the whole getting dates off the app thing. It was her first time using a thing like that after all and she already felt like she was failing, at least with one of her matches.

Once she got to the designated address, Adelaide stepped out of her car and walked slowly over to the front door with a slight bit of fear. What if he wasn’t the guy in the picture? What if he thought she was a total mess? That was something that ran through her head and vanished as soon as the door opened. “Oh..” Addie let out a small breath, letting herself inside as she allowed herself to look around. “Wine alone is just fine.” She added, glancing at him with a small smile. “Big night last night?” She asked,referring to the fact that he mentioned he had chinese food. It wasn’t any of her business but she was trying to make a bit of small talk.
