I went to the labs to take pictures of the paper under the microscope just so I could see what the fibers look like and what makes up paper. Also uncovering what creative fibers look like.

There is a swatch product like the one that I’m trying to make made by protolabs an injection molding company. I really like the concept of making a fun product.

I made loads of these little sculptures that I planned to put in an exhibition for the paper experience. but I’ve not yet had chance to do anything with them.

Aa, Wa & Myself have worked on the Fashion film society. These Risograph posters have been all around the art school since October It’s been really nice to have our work so widely appreciated.

This has been super informative and a really interesting exploration as I pursue my continued love for print. This has come in so handy when I have looked at screen printing and riso techniques. I feel like my knowledge of print is a very strong part of me as I’m so curious of what could come next.

These artists are amazing. Utilising the effect of light on the modern printing system, their work hides further detail under the skin of a single image.

This is a projection mapped sculpture that is honestly just awesome. A really nice project definitely something I could do in the future. But this was a really interesting project to find I love how interesting and dynamic it can be.

This is an interesting blog that explores how an installation was made start to finish. Inspirational stuff

I have been looking at 3D lighting sculptures and how they work. This is a really interesting website that has many products I could invest in, and create my own dynamic shows. I love this bridge technology and how you can bring seemingly impossible and intriguing effects into the space above an audience.

I have recently been looking into tools that will help make work I’m increasingly being asked to do more of, easier and more dynamic so I can focus on the live aspect instead of using my laptop which can be a pain in a live setting to be precise and punctual.

I have been delicately reworking this album cover for A Certain Ratio with Trevor Johnson and Sian Ford at Havas. I’ve been really enjoying the fact I’m learning so much from them and understanding what office life is like.
Since Trevor hasn’t got any of the original assets to work with I am having to start from scratch with the development. I’ve mainly been working with the golden ratio, frames and typography. It has been an interesting marriage of text and image.
I am using my own photography for this project and scanning in leaves found around Manchester. I’ve also been adapting a few fonts to suit the original typeface. Although I’m expecting Trevor to adapt my work and make it his own.

I have been obsessed with this visual creator. His work is bizarre but so cleverly made. There is a boundary blurred by his work that makes it so amazing.

This was my brief for print club ... it may need revising and sorting out but it will do.
