MellowBright Reshade Preset - 1000 Followers Gift

I made this preset a couple of months ago to use in my game and I absolutely love it! Since I reached 1000 followers I thought it was time to share it with all of you! MellowBright is a simple and fresh reshade that preserves the feel of the game and it’s UI but gives it a bit more color and contrast! I hope you enjoy playing with it! :D

This preset was created with Reshade Version 3.4.1

RED TINT   -   a gameplay-friendly reshade preset

(because who needs creative naming abilities am I right?)

the lovely @faintlyglowing asked me about my Reshade preset, so I decided I want to share it!

Features:

F7 - adds the actual reddish tint to the game.

F6 - lightens up the game’s appearance.

F9 (not shown) - adds additional sharpening, in case you’re a whore for sharpness like me.

doesn’t impact the game’s performance. (at least for me)

Known Issues:

Bright red and orange tones might look unsettlingly saturated.

Yuen: A Sims 4 Reshade Preset for Reshade V3!

I really wanted a reshade for my Yuen gameplay that wasn’t too intense, hard on my game, or pinky/reddish. I struggled to find one that was exactly what I wanted: so I made my own!

My goals with this reshade were:

Vibrant colors

Does not wash out dark skin tones

Blurs the background

Defines shadows on sims

Honestly, I think I accomplished this! All of the screenshots above and the one below are completely unedited.

This reshade was made with version 3.4

Press 8 on the Numpad to toggle background the blur on/off

Please make sure to have edge smoothing off :)

Also, I added two features after taking all these screenies so the actual reshade looks a little bit better. It is updated in the link for download, of course!

i wanted a preset that would make everything bright and colourful but was also light on my laptop so i could use it whilst i played, so instead of scouring the internet for hours i just made one myself lol

its super light and doesnt use any of the dof settings, it just brightens everything  up (without whitewashing) and saturates it a little

These are all my sims from New Orleans (aka Willow Creek, I renamed all my worlds with real cities :D). My story takes place in the 70s-80s. The first three row are my main characters, The Rey-Vargas (Jake’s family), The Cohles (Magna’s Family) and the Leroys (Freddie and Cory), plus Fidel and Janice, part of the teen gang I’m playing with. The rest are side characters (for now, some are too precious to keep in the background). I tried to create different sims, between race and sexuality. Some might look alike, I made a tons of siblings! It’s a small town…? I always wanted to show you all my sims, and now here it is! 🥰

heatwave is a continuation of the amazing lighting mods made by brntwaffles! but instead of using one type of lighting for every world, heatwave uses different lighting per-world, based on what i believe looks best in each one. basically, it’s a no-blu mod that affects the environment lighting.

made with patch 1.50.67 (strangerville), your game must be up to date!
