In this world we as people need to look after each other and make changes. An example, Nike are a world leading fashion and shoe brand, at one point the way they shipped and sent out clothing and shoes was harmful to the environment, the resources they would use to make the shoes were also just as bad, and in turn hurting the people who deal with the consequences. However, they saw that they needed to change, which has caused them to change to how they transport and make their shoes, as stated by Lara Robertson in her interesting arrival “Nike uses a few eco-friendly materials including organic and recycled cotton and polyester, minimises off-cuts in parts of its manufacturing process and has a waste and water reduction strategy in place in most of its supply chain. It has also made a public commitment to reduce its greenhouse gas emissions in its operations by 100% by 2025.” , like the new space hippie 3’s which Nike says are “Created from scraps, or "space junk", Space Hippie is the result of sustainable practices meeting radical design.” However there are still things that they would do as there changes have been said to be “a start” in what they want to achieve by 2025, so if a multimillion company can start to make changes why can’t we all.
