me after watching mp100: due to personal reasons i will be turning my entire life around and making positive changes so that i can do better as a person both for myself and for the people around me

the absolute fucking lengths cis (and even not trans fem trans) mp100 fans will go to try and ignore the very real transmisogyny perpetuated by the “joke” in mp100 that is literally just “haha isn’t it funny reigen is in a dress and he’s hairy (which is how you know he’s a guy women clearly never have hair on them at all!) and he almost gets arrested bc they think he’s a pervert” is. fucking astounding. even if in universe it’s logical a grown up trying to get into a middle school by disguising themself would be arrested, mp100 isn’t real!!! someone wrote it, and they also wrote it as a joke drawing from transmisogyny like. a totally literal reading of a text as if fiction just appears fully formed from a biasless void is a terrible reading.

“man in a dress whose obviously a man which is the entirety of the joke” gags are ALWAYS transmisogynistic just inherently but some of y'all are entirely unwilling to even allow light moral criticism of something you like even from someone who clearly likes it just as much.

putting this in the tags bc i’m right and also so anyone who disagrees with the idea that the transmisogynistic joke is transmisogynistic can block me :)
