Day 1: November TBR (and I'm including my October Wrap-up)... I only read 3 books in October. 😁 I'm coming out of a reading slump & so happy it's ending. I read Slasher Girls & Monster Boys, The Monstrumologist, & the 1st book of The Series of Unfortunate Events: The Bad Beginning. My plan to read 7 books this month may be a little over ambitious, but I'm going to try. I have a few extra days off of work closer to the end of the month, so I think it's doable. I plan to finish reading The Curse of the Wendigo (started it in October & don't have too much left), then read The Isle of Blood & The Final Descent, finishing The Monstrumologist series. In between, I plan to read books 2, 3, & 4 of The Series of Unfortunate Events. They're pretty short middle-grade books, so they're quick reads. I'm really having a problem with the incest. I almost didn't continue on to the 2nd book after the end of the 1st. I'm thinking about quitting this series. Does the incest nonsense stop? Spoilers are fine since I'm really trying to decide if I should continue.
