hiatus notice, important post

this is something i’ve been giving a good thought about for a while now, thus my recent distance from my blogs. a very small number of you guys know that i am portuguese, now i could give you a few names of root-portuguese actors that would physically contrast with each other (eye color, hair color, skin color, height, you name it) and you would be forced to believe they share a country, a language, a nationality and history, meaning my country does have a stereotyped look a person will have but as someone born there i can fight you on this and tell you we are a mess of genes that is explained by our history. a lot of conquering and fighting through a lot of centuries.. this is just basic knowledge that historians would have about my country and the diverse culture we have and the point of this post is not to be an history class. this subject has been brought up almost everyday since i joined the greek myth rpc and although i fought this idea and i’ve actually posted stuff that will contrast with what i will write on this post, i’m temporarily stepping out of this rpc for now because this whole point around how disrespectful it is to have an american person as face to an ancient greek figure is starting to get to me. i do still think that gods will look however they want and by all means i’m not discouraging anyone to change their idea nor do i condemn them (hell, i’m doing the same right now) but this is one of the reasons i haven’t been feeling as excited about this rpc as i once did. yes, greece has a lot of influence from everywhere, even more than portugal, to justify blue eyes or rare blond hair, but i don’t feel comfortable with the idea of disrespecting cultures and actually roleplayers that are native to these countries by bringing up an english or american actor when i have been fighting racism, homophobia, antisemitism and all kinds of narrowed minds. it just doesn’t feel right. i will be back to rp soon probably but as of right now all of my blogs are on hiatus until i figure out how to change this.

okay so, my active ones are @polemvs @titansruler and most recently @luringdeath < this is where you’ll find me (well, technically) as of right now 

before i joined the greek myth rpc again i had @edgvking and @cynicalwitted which are inactive at the moment because i dont have muse for billy and jughead was simply destroyed by cw as it always happens to my favourite characters

blogs that i didn’t have the heart to delete so they are still out there even if inactive for months if not years now are @xbstinate @extrcno @psvchopath @vanidicvs and probably a few more that i can’t remember the url .. oops

blogs that i once had but cant remember the urls because anyway they’ve been deleted are kai p.arker, sam winch.ester, we.s gibbins, jack.son whittemore, tvd silas and i think that’s it ?? 

i’ve also joined a few rp groups some time ago but i prefer indie roleplay so those blogs are not making it to this list.

    Anna could not help the laugh that escaped her, causing her head to tilt backwards as the sound flew out of her lips. She then looked at the handsome man again, rolling her eyes playfully “—someone needs to annoy you, at least a little bit.” The brunette pointed out playfully. Busying herself with cleaning up the area behind the bar, though she still stayed within the hearing range to her friend. She could feel her boss’ eyes on her again when she bent down to put a few of the items away into the cabinets though, so that quickly made her turn and glare. Anna was ready to flip the man a bird until Zagreus’ voice reached her ears and caught her attention.

     “—why not?” The brunette asked, arching a brow as she leaned against the bar, elbows resting against the smooth surface “What’s up?”

     the  secretly  god  is  taking  a  big  sip  of  his  drink  while  the  brunette  laughs ,  it  causes no  difference  in  his  mood  other  than  a  glare  at  her  while  the  liquor  runs  down  his  throat .  “  some  people  do  ”  and  zagreus  is  about  to  comment  on  the  completely  disgusting  attitude  from  the  man when  anna  reminds  him  of  the  biggest  headache  he’s  had  in  his  life  as  an  adult  god .  “ it’s  just  my  parents ”  he  decides  to  explain ,  after  all  everything  could  be  covered  and  used  in  a  mortal  made-up  scenario  when  gods  and  mortals  acted  so  alike .  “  they  are  pushing  me  into  marriage  when  i  don’t  believe  i’ll  ever  feel  that  way  towards  anyone .  ”  he  shrugs  his  shoulders ,  looking  down  at  his  empty  glass before  he  raises  it  to  indicate  he’d  like  another  drink  whenever  anna  was  ready .  “  why  do  you  even  have  to  marry ,  what’s  so  special  about  it ?  ”

     The  frown  on  his  face  meant  his  guard  is  up  and  the  God  is  alert  towards  anything  happening  around  him .  The  first  couple  of  hours  out  of  the  ‘hole’  he  was  put  in  as  a  much  desired  baby  to  everyone  in  Mount  Olympus  are  the  most  difficult  ones  --  and  so  it  happens .  Hypnos  - a  deity  he’s  not  familiar  with  yet -  is  the  first  thing  he  sees .  His  breath  is  controlled ,  Zagreus  is  trying  his  best  to  hold  a  calm  appearance  on  the  outside .  “  I  don’t  believe  so .  What  do  they  call  you ?  ”

The immortal community in the Underworld wasn’t too big so it was entirely unexpected to run into someone Hypnos didn’t know yet. Even if he didn’t talk to everyone he did know all their names and most of their faces. This meant, of course, that running into a new person was disgruntling and slightly worrying - if he missed the arrival of a new god, what else did he miss?

oh my, oh my. see this is really hard because i LOVE YOU ALL DEARLY and believe that every single one of you deserves everything that you work for. you deserve likes on that headcanon you’ve spent half an hour writing. you deserve feedback from your partner on the reply you’ve writtten for them. some love in your inbox & an opinion on your edits. i’m amazed every day by how much some people put into their blog and it’s really nice to see. it shows how much you care for this little space of yours and the character you play.

                    ARROGANCE.

You might realise it, or you might not, but the fact is you think you're better than most. You try harder and you think you deserve more. RPC   POSITIVITY   WEEK !

I’ve only had Makaria for a short time, but still I want to spread some love anyways because y’all are incredible.  Every single person I follow is so amazing, incredible, fantastic and just freaking awesome && I never want to see someone being shot down just because they decided to have fun writing with friends. There’s been so much negativity going around and it’s really upsetting to see how many amazing people are being harassed for things they have no control over, or just being sent hate. That said, I decided to take part in the rpc positivity week because I just want to help spread some love to people who really deserve more credit for how fantastic they are !! I may not do everyday,  but I will try to do everyday over  @faeblcssed​  !!
