I think Justice and Anders are meant to be a cautionary tale about friendship. They become very good friends over the course of the DA:A and become blind to each others weaknesses, creating a self righteous man.

Spite and Lucanis dont seem to have much in common and don't appear to have a friendship where one is willing to hear the other out.

As Merrill says to Anders, who was berating about how she could become him.

"Anders... There's no such thing as a good spirit. There never was. All spirits are dangerous. I understood that. I'm sorry that you didn't."

Oh man it's gonna be hilarious when Lucanis gets treated better by the narrative while having an actually malevolent spirit inside him than Anders did while having an explicitly good aligned spirit inside him.
