KB: Nokia Lumia Calendar language issue
After powering on my Lumia, I was not sure why it had a foreign language displayed in Calendar, while everything else was in English.
Might have been a typical bug.
Here is the Fix:
Go to setting,
Then select languages+regions
then select all the options to US English and the browsing language to US English as well.

Nokia Black update to bring Bluetooth LE connectivity across Windows Phone 8 Lumia devices
Nokia Lumia users will be delighted to know that Bluetooth LE (4.0) connectivity will soon be available across the company’s Windows Phone 8 running Lumia portfolio with the Nokia Black software update. Nokia first launched this Bluetooth LE feature with Amber software update, however it remained restricted to certain phones only which included 520, 620, 625, and 720. The Finnish company has now mentioned it on its official website (FAQ page) that with the forthcoming Nokia Black software update, they will extend the Bluetooth LE access for other Windows Phone 8 running Lumia devices as well.
The Bluetooth LE is basically meant for consuming low energy while it is connected to Bluetooth enabled accessories. It allows users to connect their phones with special accessories like fitness monitors, temperature sensors and hear-rate monitors among others. This feature will also help in running an accessory’s battery for longer, even for up to months, Nokia claims.

A new study by KU Leuven-iMinds researchers has uncovered that 145 of the Internet’s 10,000 top websites track users without their knowledge or consent. The websites use hidden scripts to extract a device fingerprint from users’ browsers. Device fingerprinting circumvents legal restrictions imposed on the use of cookies and ignores the Do Not Track HTTP header. The findings suggest that secret tracking is more widespread than previously thought.

You've been asked a similar question on page 5 of the site but mine is probably a little different. How secure are the email providers that come as part of a web hosting. For example with my domain I created a custom email address which uses Roundcube to send and receive, how secure is this and are there any safer/private alternatives? Thanks for taking the time to reply and keep up the great work on the site
It depends on your host. Your host still has access to the server. If you are using something like a shared host, then its probably not very secure, as the shared host still has backend access into the sever, your root files, and email. Its still more secure than something like Yahoo as you are controlling the email. Roundcube is merely a client. Roundcube has nothing to do with the mail, it just shows you the mail. But until you can afford a dedicated server I would recommend using an email provider from PanamaPrivacy,
Hushmail.com
StartMail.com
Lavabit – Shut down as of August 2013 (the owner cannot state why, but many reliable sources say whistle blower Edward Snowden was using it, and the court made him shut the service down.)
SilentCircle.com – Mail Shut down as of August 2013. All of their other services still work.
TorGuard.net
RiseUp.net
OpaqueMail.org
Autistici/Inventati
NeoMailBox.com
4SecureMail.com
CounterMail.cm
CryptoHeaven.com
S-Mail.com
Securenym.net
Safe-Mail.net
KeptPrivate.com
Novo-Ordo.com
LockBin.com
AES.io
SendINC.com – Sends encrypted emails, not actually a provider, but allows full communication through your email but encrypting your email/emails.
Opolis.eu
OneShar.es – Self destructing emails
BitMessage.ch
NotSharingMy.info – Great service, its not a provider, not a throwaway email provider either. Read on their page what they are about. I would recommend using this everyday with hushmail.
AnonymousSpeech.com
TorMail.org – extreme privacy, this is the most secure email provider that exists on the internet.
