Today is Holocaust Memorial Day

It’s a day to remember the six million Jews and countless others—including Romani people, disabled individuals, LGBTQ+ individuals, political prisoners, and others—who were brutally murdered during the Holocaust. It’s also a day to reflect on the systems of hatred and oppression that made such atrocities possible, and how those systems can manifest even in modern times.

As someone in the Reichfandom, I think it’s especially important to engage with this history responsibly. We’re drawn to this era because it’s fascinating to study the intersections of history, culture, and ideology, but we cannot forget the human cost. History is not abstract—it’s personal. Every statistic represents a life.Take today to listen, to learn, and to honor those who were silenced. Read the stories of survivors. Confront the uncomfortable truths. And most importantly, commit to being vigilant against the seeds of hatred and intolerance that persist in the world today.

I don't normally like making callout posts, but I stumbled over this person again today and I think this needs to be addressed. This person who occasionally posts in the reichblr tag is most surely an actual neo nazi. They spread antisemitic, racist and overall just extremely disgusting posts, as you can see here:

They also promote their discord server which they literally named "racist evil nazi club":

This photo was too big to fit on the page, but they showed that they were wearing jump boots with white shoe laces, a common dog-whistle among neo nazis:

I could go on because there is more, but honestly just looking at their blog just fucking disgusts me. They also seem to shit-post a lot so I was trying to give them benefit of the doubt that they're just an edgy teenager of a specifically immature type. However I fear that they're actually meaning the things they post, and such a person should not have a place in a historical community, especially one where many younger people are involved as well. I've reported them for hate speech before but it seems like that hasn't done anything yet, even though I gave tumblr support the exact links to a few specifically nasty posts. Please block them, and if you can report them as well, maybe it will do something if more people bring it to supports attention.

i cannot stress enough how i'm not an anti semite. i would be willing to provide you all with proof of the insta stories i have posted against antisemitism throughout the past year. stop calling me one i have seen some submissions about it and its just not true and for the 3729282th time being against israel isn't the same as being against judaism in general leave me alone!!

i will continue to be inactive these days (discord too) since i am going to be moving back to my country and am busy packing. i am also scared to check my following etc i am terrified to realize i have lost some of my favorite moots. i got removed from a gc i thought i had made good friends in and even though it's the internet and shit it still hurts. i am not here to harm anyone and it does feel a little unfair. i hope i can still be part of this small corner of the tumblr since it has been great for my mental health. please don't remove me from any discord groups😭 fun fact my ex boyfriend is the spitting image of heinrich himmler and i used to not be able to stare at himmler for too long but now that's gone because being here has just been good for my mental health. and i owe that partially to all the lovely people i have met here too. what happened two days ago was fucking traumatic and i don't know when i'll get over it but i hope that really didn't ruin any of my connections here. please.

i have received some disgusting hate messages that i deleted but i wish i didn't because i wanna reply to them now. it's too late, but i just find it really disheartening that i came here with a very specific problem and you guys decide to use that against me. you can call me an attention seeker all you want because it's easy to judge when you don't know what it feels like. yeah i decided to publicly state im related to a nazi because i have NO one to talk about this to. Why did the Reichblr gang up on Verbotenlove and get her banned? I didn’t think her posts or opinions were offensive at all. In fact she was always respectful to me or did I miss something? I like to hear both sides of a story, but either way I think this community needs to find a better way to resolve disagreements going forward so we don’t lose more of our group.
