After what would have been a year or more for him, we finally backed Hugo to see how he felt about the whole idea of riding again! He couldn’t have been better for his first go!!! ��✨ He wasn’t super sure at first. Hugo’s still a little sensitive to things on his back, but when it came to having someone actually sitting on him and him moving forward, he was so good. Didn’t put a foot wrong once! I received a pretty awesome package in the mail today! My @equipad brushing boots 😍🤩 They’re so beautiful and have the nicest padding for a simple every day boot. Honestly though, he looks so freaking healthy and he’s so happy too. That’s what makes me happy! Literally only a quick curry comb all over, and a brush to get that grime away and voila! Shiny pony! ✨👌🏻 It’s pretty lucky I can ride him bitless in a halter, or with all the gear and that either don’t change anything for him. No bridle? No problem! 🤩 Rupert seems to be just as awesome with or without a bit! But I do find that riding in a halter means less chance to fine tune what’s going on 😅 regardless, he felt really wonderful today.
