S/O brought a mistletoe cluster to the base, as part of "sharing a part of holiday tradition" with the bots the day after family gatherings.

Bumblebee is the first to get a kiss when S/O hangs the mistletoe at the inner part of the base' entrance. He wishes he was able to remove his facemask and feel their lips on his,but even so the smooch still makes his spark spin and doorwings shiver.

Smokescreen is the first to return from patrol, with Arcee and Jack not far behind.

After a brief explanation from Jack (followed by a hasty retreat from the mushiness), Smokescreen of course has to be next to receive a kiss. He kisses them right back and makes them laugh with the "no I'll give you a kiss" back and forth.

Arcee rolls her eyes with a smile and taps S/O on the shoulder. When they turn to her she nears her face to theirs, wings swaying slowly. She meets them halfway and presses a gentle kiss on their lips, a smile stretching on her lips while she nuzzles them. So far this holiday tradition is her favorite.

The wreckers make their entrance, with Bulkhead blasting Christmas rock. Miko, with her keen eye spots the mistletoe shortly after putting down the presents near the tree, and looks at S/O with feigned disgust and a groan, running to join Jack with hanging up the last of the decorations.

Bulkhead is the first to come near enough to get a kiss and stands there for a few moments afterwards, energon making its way to his faceplates. He has to remember to carry a little branch of his own the next year, and grins at Bee and his lucky first place.

Wheeljack is the next in line, leaning on the safety ramp and tapping his cheek. He turns his face just when S/O is about to give him a peck, and the panels on his head flicker with light for a moment. He smirks and winks at them, before Cliffjumper nudges him away.

He takes the initiative and gives S/O a long kiss, whispering if there's a different plant that will give more than just a kiss. S/O laughs, patting Cliff's cheek with a "If you make it onto the nice list next year I might consider looking it up,"

Ultra Magnus has been looking at the decoration the last they looked in his direction, and seems lost between approaching or walking away before they could give him a kiss. He caves in and gives them a chaste kiss, retreating to his hab before his faceplate turns fully blue. They make a note of plucking a branch from the cluster before they go and find him for a "kiss that lives up to traditional standards".

Ratchet and Optimus arrive much later, with the kids helping June set up the table and carry food.

Ratchet kisses them with a huff about humans needing an audience for nearly all affectionate gestures, but he's smiling when he feels their gentle kiss

Optimus hums, a soft smile on his face and a twinkle in his optics. He leans close and presses a tender kiss to their forehead, the sensation tingling. "Like so?" he smugly asks, and plucks a small twig from the cluster. They can show him how it's properly done after the movie marathon, if they feel inclined.

They do manage to catch Optimus off guard during a Christmas romcom, plucking the stray branch from behind his windshield.

Magnus gets a proper kiss during his round of making warmed energon and highgrade, as a break from the Home Alone marathon.

Wheeljack's remark about him being a lightweight is interrupted by June's laughter at Agent Fowler's Santa costume. He was picked as the jolly man for the yearly fundraiser, and barely had a moment to change out of the get up. He has to eat at least one cookie before he changes.

Once the kids, June and Fowler open their gifts and go home (with Ratchet nearly crying coolant at receiving some slightly more advanced tech from Fowler and his bosses), S/O suggests for everyone to sleep together. Some mass displacement and grumbling, laughing and goodhearted shoving, they lie down among their loved ones, and slowly fall asleep to the hum of idling engines. Funny, they could've sworn some of them almost sound like they're jingling.
