video editing and gif making are not the same. there is no easy way to convert videos into an edit, while there is one for giffing that makes the gifs look exactly like they would if someone made them. all the extra effort for gifs is just so gif makers can act pompous and entitled when people want to use their gifs

For Gifmakers:

With the new twitter update that allows a set of gifs to be posted, gifmakers are starting to see their work being uploaded on twitter’s platform without permission. To stop your gifs from being saved through your desktop theme, here are some codes that will disable right click (Save image as…) as well as drag & drop (dragging gif to another tab and saving there). Steps are included in the links!

Right Click Disable (***the site with this code will tell you to paste this after <body>, but you can place this before <head> as the first link tells you and you’ll be just fine***)
