We have been waiting for two days on an update about the sale of our house and it is now nearly 5 PM so guessing the update is not coming today.

This is after our realtor told us everything was good when apparently everything was NOT good and we were hit out of left field with a hiccup.

I am very much not having a good time!!!

I have been very productive today but it honestly feels like I barely made a dent in packing and that's frustrating!! Idk how we keep accumulating so much shit. I am over it. I want to give everything away. 😅

Calling it quits for tonight to take an everything shower, do all my fav skincare, pour a crisp glass of Sauvy B and watch the Amy Bradley documentary. ✨bAlAnCe✨ or whatever.

I love my son dearly..... but we have been together SO much this summer so when grandma asked if he could come stay for a few days I said.. BUH BYE! 😂👋🏻

He left this morning and honestly couldn't get out the door fast enough. I think he's sick of me too.

Cole and I are going out with friends tonight to dinner and a local brewery and then tomorrow night we have dugout suite tickets to a Royals game with the company Cole works for. Should be a fun weekend! Then Sunday I am making us stay home and pack, pack, pack. The move will be here before we know it.

One of my direct reports did something really dumb that I'm sure she thought was innocent but definitely was not and now I am roped into an investigation by our cyber security team and I just really hate managing people!!! Like why is this my problem 😩 I did not do the dumb thing 😩

Coming back to work after 10 days off is not the move 😒 especially when we also have to secure a new house, pack our current house, get Knox enrolled in a new school, keep up on all his extracurriculars and move in the next month lololol what were we thinking 😅🤪😭

I was asleep by 8 PM last night 😂 got a full 12 hours and I feel like a new woman. Vacation was great but I was ready to be home. Today will be lots of laundry and reading. I also need to make my way to the grocery store.

While we were on vacation, we reached an agreement about the inspection findings with our buyers so we are moving ahead with the sale! We have just over 4 weeks until school starts so life is about to get reallll busy cramming a move in there.
