In a recent adventure, we headed deep into the desert on KTM’s latest 790 Adventure project bike in search of hidden motocross tracks — and this thing was quite the beast. It’s outfitted with a full suite of PowerParts mods but the real game-changer was the WP XPLOR Pro suspension. If you’ve ever dreamed of rally-level suspension on your adventure bike, this is it. The kit includes a Cone-valve fork + PDS rear shock that adds 2.7 inches of suspension travel with insane levels of bump absorption, damping control and adjustability. Many adventure riders not only use their adventure bikes for exploring trails off the beaten path, but also for getting around town or their daily commute.
