Thora James: eternal optimist & idealist

Fun Fact: Thora (and Nikolai) stick to a very healthy breakfast when practicing and training. KB have said that they could totally see them making protein smoothies together and then Thora would accidentally break the blender because she has bad luck. However, Nikolai wouldn’t be upset about it. He’d either just fix the blender himself or he’d come home later in the day with a new one 💖

Nikolai Kotova: intense and very intimidating, he is the most responsible Kotova brother.

Fun Fact: Nikolai does not like to watch tv and probably wouldn’t watch tv unless it’s a sports game. However, he would watch One Tree Hill or Vampire Diaries with Thora because she loves those shows and he loves making her happy.

Baylee Wright: overly passionate about ordinary things and always on the hunt for a great beef patty.

Fun Fact: Baylee's birthday is in December (we don't know the exact date) and she is 5'4'' tall!

Luka Kotova: reckless but generous, he loves everyone (except Corporate)

Fun Fact: Luka Kotova is 6 feet tall and the top three emoji's he uses when texting are 🍔👏😘

John Ruiz: pessimistic Vegas blackjack dealer, he's happy in hell (aka being surrounded by Kotova's) if it means he's with Timo. 

Fun Fact: John is 1 inch taller than Timo and...John Ruiz does not like fun facts 

Timofei Kotova: lives life to the fullest & has a talent for making "most" people happy

Fun Fact: Timo likes to listen to Bruno Mars and he's more into movies than tv shows. He even likes to watch foreign movies!

Camila Ruiz: Expert on matters of the heart 💖

Fun Fact: She's a hopeless romantic. When she loves, she loves hard

Dimitri Kotova: Extremely loyal & extremely crude, he gives out the worst and best advice

Fun Fact: When Dimitri has time off he usually hangs out with his family. He’ll go to restaurants or clubs and he’ll take advantage of living in Vegas.

Katya Kotova: the only girl in a large Russian-American family

Fun Fact: Katya is the only one who uses Twitter and uses it to keep up with a lot of current events, especially in the celebrity world. 

Sergei Kotova: the misunderstood, oldest brother of Nikolai, Peter, Luka, Timo and Katya.

Fun Fact: KB said that Sergei would be sorted into the Slytherin house! 🐍

Brenden Wright: lover of literature, dinosaurs, and all languages

Fun Fact: Brenden is older than Baylee by 1 year. Which means he's the same age as Luka Kotova

Zhen Li: friendliest guy in Aerial Ethereal.

Fun Fact: Zhen's top 3 canon emoji's that he uses when texting are 🙃😝😘

“Please,” Camila says, “I’m an expert on matters of the heart. I know things.”  

John steals a second shot from Camila, his expression sour. “You’ve only been with one person,” he announces, and Dimitri rocks back in shock. “That makes you an expert on Douchebag Dave and that’s it.”“Where’s Douchebag Dave?” 

Dimitri asks. “Is he here? Tonight?” He’s even more intrigued, looking around for this dude. 

“His name is Craig,” Camila says, “and no. You’re never meeting him. No Kotova is.”

Dimitri cocks his head. “You’re anti-Kotova?” “Today I’ve decided I’m anti-drama, which means I’m anti-Kotova. At least for the next half-century.” She forces a smile at a customer at the end of the bar and waves. 

“I’ll wait for you, princess.” 

Camila actually smiles. I think she’s surprised by her own reaction.

But I live inside of juggling. It’s my every day. No breaks. No time apart. Living with a passion isn’t like sitting on top of the world twenty-four-seven. I drop down constantly and stare pointedly at my juggling props, and I question if they’ve revolted against me. 

Every toss feels off. Every way I move feels wrong. Like I’m all out of whack, and in one moment, I hate juggling like it’s my stubborn spouse. It’s my foe. 

Then one day, my clubs float in perfect symmetry. My heart soars as high as the props I toss, and my passion blisters bright inside of me. Juggling is my love. 

I remember why I do this. Why I grind through the hard parts—I do it for these blissful, world-bending moments.

I hesitate to bask in the joy and accomplishment. After so much disappointment, I guess I expect more to hit me soon, another stipulation, another setback. I’m not the fool-hearted, idealistic girl anymore. I’ve been shaken enough to be wary. And it’s a mark that’ll stay with me. For better or for worse.
