indefinite hiatus notice: 

if anyone knows me outside of tumblr then you know that i’ve sorta hit this wall. I have no energy outside of work much less the muse/inspiration to keep up with this ( or frankly, any of my blogs ) there’s also a few medical reasons, but for your sake and my sanity i wont go into those. 

so, i’m archiving this blog and putting it on an indefinite hiatus. if i do come back, it will be with a fresh start. ( though, i’ll be keeping the url as is. ) I’ll be doing this with all my blogs ( if i don’t delete the others first. haha )

                     “well----” he’s grinning at the beginning of his own half-hearted joke before he even nails the landing. "---i dunno about that.”  he stops, heels biting asphalt as he turns with a contemplative hum.

NAME : avalon, yes that is a pen name, no i will not disclose my actual name. NICKNAME :  ava or avamarie.    FACECLAIM :    muns: i’ll use emilia clarke or honestly any rp icon i have on hand atm. dick: i’m in the process of switching it over to kendji girac as he’s ethnicity correct. ( i’m lazy with icon making so hhh )  PRONOUNS :  she / her  HEIGHT :    5′4 BIRTHDAY :    13th  december 1993 AESTHETIC :    tanktops, flats, shadows / midnight,  leggings,  hair that’s never the same color, lizards, cats, light makeup and electronics.  LAST  SONG  YOU  LISTENED  TO :   human - rag’n bone man. FAVORITE  MUSE (S)  YOU’VE  WRITTEN:   i suppose, it would have to be the ones that always manage to keep their voice even when i’m too busy to sit down and write. dick’s very high on that list as is midna ( from loz ) , but honestly, after those two, i couldn’t say.   ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

GETTING  TO  KNOW  THE  ACCOUNT:

WHAT  INSPIRED  YOU  TO  TAKE  ON  THIS  MUSE :   i think it was a mixture of dick’s past, his personality, and his drive. this is one of the few muses that i have written as that often throw me for a loop. when i typically choose a muse, i honestly do it where i’m staying within my comfort zone. dick, is a character with a lot of ins and outs, a lot of character growth and underlying niches and habits that, when i first started writing as him i was absolutely terrified. 

WHAT  ARE  YOUR  FAVOURITE  ASPECTS  OF  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE :  my favorite thing is that he’s not just this ball of optimistic sunshine. yes, i’m aware that that’s the basic conses of the fandom. dick, the happy, talkative robin / batkid. but, he’s so much more than that! there’s anger, regret, hesitation, determination, and pride hidden in the cracks of his suit. this is a man, who actually wasn’t oblivious to his brother's pain ( especially jason’s and tim’s ) and struggle of being under his proverbial shadow. he made it a point to tell them that no, they are not him but that didn’t mean anything because they had talents of their own that he, dick, couldn’t do. he actively tried to comfort and encourage them to do the best they could. it’s not mentioned often. i could also get into my other points or the fact that at the beginning of his nightwing career he spent it avoiding bruce, but it’s long and winded so let me just wrap it up by saying that my favorite aspects of dick grayson, is dick grayson. 

WHAT’S  YOUR  BIGGEST  INSPIRATION  WHEN  IT  COMES  TO  WRITING:   i’m sort of an odd ball when it comes to drawing inspiration. i, for the most part write to music. it’s easiest for me to channel my muse when i’m listening to a song that i strongly relate them to. it’s been like that since i’ve started writing. 

FAVORITE  TYPES  OF  THREADS:   the easiest way to win my heart is by writing angst with me. give me a thread were are muses are subjected to something that makes them question their morales. one that lets them look at the world with a different perspective that lets them grow and climb out of that mess feeling stronger and more experienced. 

BIGGEST  STRUGGLE  IN  REGARDS  TO  YOUR  CURRENT  MUSE:  dick is one of the hardest muses i’ve ever written as. i’m often stuck with how he’ll respond to certain people ( other muses. ) or how he’ll act when he’s faced with something he doesn’t outrightly agree with. i’m so used to writing muses who are: loud, mean, overly blunt, a little hateful, and spiteful. dick, for the most part, is none of these things. it’s hard for me, and i spend countless hours a day wondering how accurate, or close to home i am when it comes to writing him. guys, i struggle, so hard, but i love him so i’m going to keep writing as him because i thoroughly enjoy it.

                    "yeah, of course.” dick chuckles before stepping forward and grabbing hold of the bag. he pauses at the sheer weight of it and eyes her for a second. how she managed to pull it outside at all is a wonder. dick shifts, and tosses the offending bag into the bin. “anything else?”
